ruclips.net/video/_dXfYnR-Y7E/видео.html Thanks for watching. I have just as in depth of a video about the G923. I think the TrueForce adds something to the experience but not sure everyone will feel it's enough to justify the additional cost. So you have the choice of picking the G923 or saving cash and getting the previous gen.
Sorry that reply was meant for another comment. Yeah I think in terms of features for the price this gen wheel is great. At least now that the price has come down below $300. These launched back in 2015 and the industry has moved towards belt and direct drive wheels. Makes me wonder what Logitech will be going for next gen.

Can confirm.the TH8S is nicer than the Logo shifter. It comes with an adapter to plug into a PC via USB. On PC you can mix and match as many individual peripherals as you like as long as they can act as a standalone USB device. Each will appear as a separate game controller and you'll be able to map them to whatever you wish in the game/Sim. Thanks for watching! Happy racing!

I am going to be buying this soon, and I was wondering how much of an inconvenience it is to clamp, and unclamp it every time you want to play. I play on pc, and I need space for my mouse and keyboard for whenever I play games that I don't use the wheel on, and I am intending on just clamping the wheel onto my desk, so I was wondering about how long does it take to clamp it on each time, and how long does it take to unclamp it off. I am intending on probably about clamping it on and off about twice a day.
I've found Sim Racing to be a great hobby to get into. But I've been into racing games for a long time. As I've gotten more into Motorsports I've found I want to experience more realistic driving experiences. If you can try it I definitely recommend doing so. Maybe find a store like Microcenter that has a Sim rig set up. Also if you have a friend with a while maybe you can borrow it or go to their place to try it out. Stay safe!
On PC yes you can use a G29 to play Forza Horizon or any game really. But on Xbox One, and Series S/X the G29 will not work as it's PlayStation and PC wheel. Only the G920 or G923 Xbox version will work on Series X. There are third party tools like a DriveHub and GIMX that can help use unsupported wheels on console but I have not used any.

I have this problem with my g920 where the wheel is super stiff. I managed to kinda fix it, but now my wheel auto steers the moment i steer into any direction (in forza). How do i fix this?
I bought G29, but it's working very strange! I tried Forza horizon 5, Assetto corsa. Tyre is rotating very slowly, to rotate a tyre I should rotate the wheel too much, something nearly 700 degrees. Is it normal? Because it's impossible to configure that. I tried to fine tune everything. (((

It takes less then 1 min to clamp to desk or table.
Is it wierd that i've always hated racing games but I really want to try a driving sim with a wheel? I do enjoy real life driving so maybe thats why
Stay safe!
@@BallisticTech I'm very happy I just bought a G920 for 89 euro now to try Beamng and Assetto Corza!
Are you able to use the g29 to play forza horizon 4/5 or do you have to use the g920
On PC yes you can use a G29 to play Forza Horizon or any game really. But on Xbox One, and Series S/X the G29 will not work as it's PlayStation and PC wheel.
Only the G920 or G923 Xbox version will work on Series X.
There are third party tools like a DriveHub and GIMX that can help use unsupported wheels on console but I have not used any.
superbly done mate. Im planning on getting this on black friday. Hope its on sale
Were you able to find one?
It was on sale on Amazon on Black Friday for £169. I paid £215 just a few weeks ago and I’m happy enough.
@@BallisticTech yes mate I got it on black Friday. It was $230 for just the wheel and pedals. I got the shifter for 60 bucks it wasn't on sale. In total plus shipping was about $320!
@@grahamkelly8662 yes man. Im playing forza on it and its great it feels really premium. But Im new to it and I can't manage to go on reverse. I have the shifter. Can you please tell me how? Maybe I need to tweak some settings
@@albertomartinez6867 I don’t own a gear shifter and for me, if I want to reverse, it’s automatically set to the brake pedal. Try putting shifter in neutral and hitting the brake pedal. If you are moving and want to reverse, use brake to stop then let go of brake and hit brake again and you should start to reverse. Hope that helps you out.👍
I love this video's layout. Perfect guide.
I play a lot of ATS. I need to map peddles to the wheel since I am not able to move my feet. I currently use a ps4 controller to play ATS. Of the two wheels, which would you recommend for that? (Holding the button down like you would the Trigger Buttons on a controller.)
I also have limited space./funds
I think you did an amazing in-depth review. Thank you.
The G920 is compatible with the xbox series x right? Just wanna make sure
What would recommend for a beginner that really wants to get into sim racing? I did my research on logitech and thrustmaster, but I feel like Sheldon Cooper trying to decide on what I want 😅 new to the channel
thank you for this video I really needed it
Does it spin back, like will It feed through my hands while turning a corner quickly, (like a real car)(and will it be dependent on speed/angle too)
Have u figured out if it does ?
@@Luis-ic3bm nooe
@@piercepromotions6642 dang did u get it?
Would the wheel still work with my Xbox series x? Or just with the Xbox one(EDIT)
After watching more of the video I have awnsered my own question
Thanks for watching!
I wanted to buy g29 for my ps4 to play games like gtsport and nfs heat.
BUT THERE IS QUESTION, g29 does not come with an external handbrake, so one of the button on the steering wheel can be the handbrake button?
broooooo, that intro got the like right off the bat!!!
Glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!
Just asking is the logitech g920 driving force racing wheel and the logitech steering wheel shifter great to use to learn and practice driving manual for beginner i have to learn manual driving will they be great to learn and practice
Is there a version of Logitech’s G29 wheel and pedals that will work with Apple’s MacBook Pro or Air? Thanks
no but not worth it anyway as there are barely any game that work with Mac's anyway just convert it to windows
I love how u got f1 in the try not to laugh(f1 is my favourite sport)
love the video quality. keep on going, you will make it to the top
Thank you for watching and commenting. It's very motivating! G923 video coming soon!
@@BallisticTech Nice. I'm looking forward to the g923 video👍
G29 and G920 have wrong pics at minute 2:50, otherwise good job. this vid really helped me decide
Going to pickup my wheel so I decided to watch this.
Edit: Nice video, learned alot while setting up, I'm new to sim racing starting with Forza Horizon 4, I got this wheel so I don't beat my car lol. Will definitely get a shifter soon
Thanks for watching. Glad you found it informative. Keep racing. Youll learn more and more and keep getting better
So wait. Should I plug this into my pc and update the onboard firmware before plugging it into my ps5?
I think it'll probably work with the drivers on the wheel. But could be worth it just to check. You'll have to download either G-Hub or LGS
Hey Man!
I Wonder if im gonna buy the 920, but i have a Xbox series s!
Does it fit?
Yes
Could I just use the wheel? Without the gas pedals? Also, will that wheel tighten ok on a thin glass top desk
Does the shifting feel really clicky and fake? Or does it feel smooth and realistic
Great review definitely want one. Im from uk will it come with a uk mains plug. Also what wires connect etc is it easy. Not great with my tech lol
Thanks for watching. It will come with a power plug for your region if bought from a store/retailer there.
I have a section that shows the setup. You plug the pedals into the wheel. Connect the power to the wheel. Organize the cables. Then plug into your PC/Console. Fairly straightforward!
@@BallisticTech if from amazon do you know what cable is included. Could always just buy a separate plug if needed i guess
Ah my bad must have missed that bit then. Seems easy enough then. Thanks!
so is it normal for these wheels to have decent input delay? as im watching the video i see that its like a 0.5 second input delay and was wondering if there was a wheel that has no delay like ur driving irl?
Its probably your ping idk though
Th8s vid is what made me buy one it's coming monday
Mines coming Wednesday
Ayyyyyyyy
great super in-depth video! just ordered all my rig stuff! already have the rig base/logitech shifter, awaiting the wheel/pedals/handbrake. excited to get started, thank you!
damn bro havent seen such an in depth review in a while. A definite sub from me waiting for some more content
Thank you Povilas! I put a lot of time into it so glad you liked it!
Povilas. I haven't seen that name before. Where are you from?
@@BallisticTech hey glad to cheer you up. I'm Lithuanian so there are a lot of strange names you don't see often
@@povilaskirna4108 Ah happy to learn something new! What is new to me is normal to you! Thanks again for watching from Lithuania!
Is there anything better out now on PC for starters?
If you're more comfortable with ps4 controls then get the g29. If you're more comfortable with xbox controls then the g920.
if that's the case you could probably put a rubber stopper in the clutch pedal to replicate the feel 12:10
Hello, my dear friend, I have a question that I did not find an answer to, maybe you can help me. I saw many friends using both the controller and the logitech g920 at the same time (they use the controller to see around) I wanted to know how this mode is activated in Xbox ??
Say you're playing forza 5 and you set it up properly can you stall in game? If not then the shift and the clutch is just useless?
I have this problem with my g920 where the wheel is super stiff. I managed to kinda fix it, but now my wheel auto steers the moment i steer into any direction (in forza). How do i fix this?
I've seen ppl report this when their frb is inverted somewhere in game or Logitech software
@@BallisticTechthank you! where can I invert that is the fh5 settings do you know that.
@@BallisticTech nvm I found it it works!
wow that was one perfect video. Thanks
I have an xbox and ma planning to play on that but getting a pc in the future, if I get the g920 will it work for PC gaming too
Would u say this is the best wheel for a beginner in around that price range
I bought G29, but it's working very strange! I tried Forza horizon 5, Assetto corsa. Tyre is rotating very slowly, to rotate a tyre I should rotate the wheel too much, something nearly 700 degrees. Is it normal? Because it's impossible to configure that. I tried to fine tune everything. (((
