I really agree with the end of this lesson about Evil. God creates everything, but Man must choose, between the Goodness of God and the Evil that is also there. Unfortunately it is both, but fortunately God does provide and we will know, what we need to know, when we need to know, if we ask for God's help. I am really enjoying this now even though I am a dreaded, "Liberal" who has had an experience where I know, without a doubt, there is not only God, but Goodness and we will know the difference but we MUST ask for God's word. He will provide.

I am reading your lectures, now am on Genesis week 5 page 5. You said the key for quick reproducing is having a large number of females to each male. I agree if you applied this to animal but to the first family of human.... this would not fit in the marriage God intended for us. One male and one female. Please kindly enlight me as I see this as a contradiction. Thank you so much!

do you think symbolism is still apparent in our every day lives and surroundings and observations, as in things we see and or notice have a physical representation of something going on underneath in the spirtual world? or do you think this symbolism, or the concept of duality of reality or however you phrase it, exists for God's divine purposes and illustrations primarily in the Holy Scriptures? just a point about the verse "took wives of all whom they chose" may refer to polygamy for the sake of creating a harem. The profile of Gilgamesh in the epic of Gilgamesh demonstrates the attitude of dominance this verse may be trying to portray. I believe the sages who say that the sons of God were simply of the seth lineage. Mostly because its hard to accept that God would not be able to control such a situation.

I was listening to another rabbi speak on the topic of gen 6. And t made kore sense that these sons of Gods were actually just really incredibly valiant men. Even the Judges of Isreal were referred to as Ben elim. Sons of God. It's more of a title. And I think it does denote moral superiority that was in Seth"s line. Yet, evenstill the lust of the eyes in this chapter that causes Seth's sons to choose less apt wives is paralleled in many stories of men in the Bible who decide to marry or court wayward women.
Samson and Delilah come to mind.
But David is notoriously known for falling into sexual sin with bathsheba and his kingdom toppled to the ground.
I cant help but look at this Gen 6 being the same warning - Godly men beware! Wicked Women are great snares!

The Hebrew here 'bene Yehovah Elohim' (for God's people) is not much different than in Gen. 6 'bene Elohim' (supposedly angels or divine beings). When Moses refers to angels he uses (Mal'ak).

Your point you don't agree with us (Hebrew) about good and bad of Adam.
There really is no other way, if G-d created us with ONLY good would mean he created a system of parts with an objective, G-d allowed us to have a decision to do good or bad, which is a BIG reason why we accept Adam and Eve as a part of the "System" created by G-d as the ONLY reason Eve and Adam did what they did was because they had the choice, a choice G-d allowed them to have as part of their creation.
This is WHY we are NOT like animals, we have choices and the ability to feel and believe (In G-d)

We are thrilled to see that YHWH is using this teaching to speak to you! However, one must use caution in elevating man's writings to that of the Father's spoken Word. That being said, we want to emphasize that the Quran is not an "updated" or "latest" version of the Torah. Torah is Torah, and Yeshua-YHWH's son-is Torah made flesh. The Quran, although it may draw from aspects of the Torah, does not come from the Father and should not be used as divine scripture for those who claim to be Hebrews, i.e. followers of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Blessings and shalom in your journey as you seek Yahweh and His son Yeshua!

    • @LittleHatori

That comment made me laugh so funny. But if anything I believe the point the speaker was making was that the influx of females was a blessing bc it ensured high reproduction and males would be born too and eventually balance out the ratio of male to females. But just as u want high reproduction, I also think it was made this way bc it made getting married and mating very confident for men. Because the supply of women was great and there was no fights about it., later the # of the sexes will equal out. And the production will slow in God's providence
Just knowing some biology, men turn out 500million sperm cells in their life
And woman have about 400,000 possible eggs to ovulate but only release about 40,000 in our life time.
So our capability to reproduce is still within us, incredibly our bodies have just become less efficient. Imagining that only a few people could repopulate the entire earth is not a huge stretch if they were resilient and sexually mature at full capacity- as it seemed Adam and Chavah were.
      Hope that makes sense!
      Cheers!

      Michael Hayes,
Hebrew is an ancient language, that was lost when Jerusalem fell to the Romans in 70 AD. and later revived by Eliezer Ben Yehuḏah. The guttural sound is almost equivalent to hocking up stuff in the throat. That is the rule whenever you see 'ch' in Hebrew. When found at the end of a word, the chath gives the guttural 'ach' (ahk) sound.
Isaiah 27:13 speaks of a future day when people will come to "worship YeHoVaH in the holy mount at Jerusalem." The Hebrew word for "temple" that is used 81 times is the word "hekal" - meaning "big house."
Many speculate that the universal language that will be spoken in the Millennium Kingdom will be Hebrew.
Supporting Verses: Zephaniah 3:9 Genesis 11:1 Isaiah 19:18
      We better start practicing!😊👍
