This new line makes me excited for the mystery knit a long, and this years hyber-knitting adventures. I will always tell you my favorite color is blue. But, I cannot get over the corduroy, the new yellow, and the grays.
Love the blues, especially the Royal; that’s my favorite blue as well. Love the original teals and the dark browns, and although I’m no much into oranges, Beatrix & Red Hot…😍 Thank you for sharing all that yarnie goodness…🤗💚
Ooohhh, I see next year’s temperature project being made in these colours. I need 22 different shades from deep deep blue for the coldest days to deep deep purple for the hottest days. And then all the greens, yellows oranges and pinks in between…. Or maybe I’ll finally start a temperature blanket for my birthyear…
I would LOVE an entire video of you putting together different color combinations. I kept making screen shots. It is really helpful to see how the colors change depending on what skeins you put next to each other. The collection is beautiful! My favorite colors are blue/greens and green/blues, blue leaning greys, and purples. But I like pairing browns with blues or peachy colors with blues as well. So fun!
Love the new colors. Love ❤️ the bright colors. I was thinking it would be awesome if you made a butterfly pattern shawl with the bright colors I love the way you work with colors. I’m excited I bought couple pattern books. Lol can’t wait.
Oh no! Another $500 international order in my future! I can’t stop once I start! Hopefully I’ll be able to order all the colors I want. I’m very excited that it’s merino too!
So many choices.... but I love the hewel tones. The royal and deep plum are so me. Right now Im knittint a hat but The Woolly Thistle and Max Cyr's Singke Makt sweater. Great job Steohen. The colors are so lovely. East Texas, Oklahoma are very proud of you.❤
I just loved the red hot with the naturals. Like @heathergoldsmith , I have to think carefully before placing an order from Australia. I also *_loved_* the corduroy, I'd be thinking in terms of combining it with pinks and purples - and perhaps even blues.
Oh I Think That Corduroy Is Begging To Be A Dustland Cardigan... Even Though I Already Bought Fuchsia For One, I Think A Variety Of Dustland Cardigans Can Never Be Wrong 😅
I’m thinking of pairing the aubergine with the Dutch Sky Glowhair. Want to see what fabric that creates! I’ll be in Amsterdam in October, can’t wait to visit your store in person!!
Love the colors and I can’t choose a favorite. Love the idea of the 50g skeins. I am thinking about doing the Rhinebeck Giverny sweater but haven’t decided on colors. Any ideas???
The colours are amazing, but it really saddens me to hear that the Texelaar got taken out of the wool blend 😢. I don't know what the reason behind that decision is, but it added a local touch to the yarn and it was plenty soft with the Texelaar in. I liked it a lot.
Uh, the purples, but the shipping is prohibitive for me in Australia. I'll be casting something by Joji Locateli soon, just before the mystery shawl, of course. 💜💜💜
Oh My Gosh... What Are You Casting On By Joji??? I Must Know. I Am Going To Be Casting On Spectre, Marble Mount & Solare For This Fall's Sweaters After I Finish This Bottom Up Brioche Cardi I Designed Myself 😅

@@StarfireReborn lol, I am first going to check out the new patterns she is dropping for the fall challenge, which obviously won't be fall/autumn for me here. I will probably do a little boxy for one of my granddaughter if I could don't like any of those. I can't do the mega cast ons. I would get overwhelmed. 💜💜💜
I’m surprised you don’t have a bright red that is less crimson and more primary or cherry red. The colour of the Canadian Flag (or a UK flag red for that matter) or a beautiful red rose. I love the royal blue but there isn’t a “Royal red” to go with it. Is there a “baby blue”? Love the Bianca Yellow, and the Taffy & Fandango and that Royal blue in the DK weight. Is the 50 g Bicycle half the price of the old 100 g? Just can’t see myself buying 8 or 10 (or 12 for a sweater!) 50 g skeins when most dyers are offering 100 g skeins with 400 yards or metres on a skein. It is way more practical to get the larger skeins. When people buy a kit for a shawl, they often need more yarn than the pattern calls for. One would need to get an extra skein anyway to ensure you had enough. Which makes it hard to get a kit. A pattern that uses 45 g of a colour would mean many folks could need 10-15 m of a second skein. Would the second skein be included in the kit? 🤷🏻♀️
Yes, he does. I am in Edmonton and have bought a few kits and other yarn from Stephen & Penelope over the last couple of years and a couple of books. It comes quickly and the European tax comes off when you complete your order with your Canadian address. The GST is less.
@@karolynnbrunelle8490 I will be looking forward to the release of the MKAL2023 kits in a few weeks. (How did the time fly so quickly from last year?!) I ordered as soon as the kits went live and I think my kit arrived in 2-2.5 weeks. Before the end of September for sure. And that was when hundreds of kits were ordered in a couple of days and things were a complete frenzy.

If a project requires 100 grams of fingering weight then you will need two skeins of west wool bicycle. Just knit with 1 strand of Bicycle and that will be enough yarn for your 100g requirement.
Too bad about the lower meterage in the Bicycle. I hate joining yarns and there is always wastage. The more yardage on a skein the better I like it for most projects.

All gorgeous colors!! I really love a neutral with a pop of chartreuse, magenta, olive green and royal blue! 🧶 🤩 a Penguono would be awesome!!

If my project requires 100 grams I will get 2 skeins, Inwhich knitted together or knit single strand?
Thank you
Hi, knitted single strand. First knit up one skein, then join in the second.
If a project requires 100 grams of fingering weight then you will need two skeins of west wool bicycle. Just knit with 1 strand of Bicycle and that will be enough yarn for your 100g requirement.
