This actress should have won a Emmy for Mike and Molly👏🏻 She is one of the best comedy actresses of all time. Love you Rondi and congrats on all your awards and success. Well deserved👏🏻♥️🌹
Believe it or not. I'm obsessed with Madame Morrible. My dream will be to be on broadway, heck. Even a national tour in Australia on stage in Drag screaming "THIS, WICKED WITCHHHHHHH"
I’m 46-years-old, & if I can’t play Elphaba, my ultimate dream role in the Wicked, then I don’t mind playing Madame Morrible, because she is a hard role to play. Especially the line, “Wickeeeeeeeed Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch!”. I get a feeling that I can still play Elphaba in Wicked, because people think I’m in my 30’s. A few think I’m in my 20’s.
"Alright Elphaba let's get the show on the road," love the ending, lol. Great video behind the scenes look at Wicked. My Uncle Tim use to play trumpet, and the head of the orchestra (sort of a manager so to speak) in Chicago. I got to go backstage meet the wizard and wave to Elphaba in 2008 or so, it was really cool.
I love that she'd known Dee (the Elphie at this point, they'd worked together in Chicago for quite some time before Broadway) for so long before this that she felt comfortable saying "Alright, Elphaba, get the show on the road!" xD
I want to thank my drama teacher in high school for teaching me that wearing lots of make-up for the audience sitting in the back & the balcony seats in the theatre can see the actors faces. That’s so cool to see what Madame Morrible’s make-up looks up very close.
The red one that rondi wore first with the lots of beading are kinda like what bianca del rio sew on his shop where he said it was made for wicked If you search in bianca del rio the hardest working costumer in the search bar you'll see their that bianca showed a dress that has the same beading and stuff on the red one
Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I am trying to research the red costume so that I can reproduce it for a costumers convention. Love the styling!
probably because and Im just guessing here. She doesn't really sing so she can't blow a mic out and if her mic did go out she ussually has a cast member near her to help out. Just my guess though...
Clem It is when a stage is on a slant. The back of the stage is higher than the front. This is done so that the whole stage is more visible for the whole audience. They're more difficult to perform on, definitely, but they are better visually for the audience.
Well of course you don’t have anyone to do it for you lol half of elphabas body has to be covered in green and that requires a professional to get right…

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I am trying to research the red costume so that I can reproduce it for a costumers convention. Love the styling!
I'm assuming that for "Millie" she went in as Mrs. Meers. I can totally see that.
Rondi is seriously my most favorite Madame Morrible.
6:43 Ah so the Legend of Shoshana Bean grew from here on
I love the red costume the best!

I watch this video once a month
Rondi Reed aa Madame Morrible
I love this! It makes me wan to make MY dreams come true.
They give leads usually two mic's because there's usually no time to change mic's.
And also if one failed they have a back up
I love Rondi! She's so funny! She kinda reminds me of Carol Burnett:)
Backstage : nice as
Onstage: THIS DISTORTION! THIS REPULSION! THIS WICKED!! WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTCHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
she totally reminds me of carol burnett, who, by the way, should play this role
@aremaypres92 Yes! Let's put her in the upcomming movie
my fear of her slowly began to grow as the costume came together... :-O .........
its mikes mom from mike and molly =)
probably because and Im just guessing here. She doesn't really sing so she can't blow a mic out and if her mic did go out she ussually has a cast member near her to help out. Just my guess though...
they did Rondi dirty giving her nonly 240p
Why does she have only 1 mic? Elphaba has 3 most of the time.
What’s up with the quality lol
hercolsing remark omg
What is a rake stage?
A slanted stage!
The stage is on an angle.
Clem It is when a stage is on a slant. The back of the stage is higher than the front.

nora is "head of hair"!!!!!!!
@marypierce1909 nope(:
mamma min
Her mouth is JUST like Elaine Paige's!! Random comment!! :)
WICKED
I'm gay and I would totally date her!
Im not hating or anything but it sounded like she was a bit rude about the girl playing elphaba at some parts
She’s doing schtick
wanna go drinkin with her....
Well of course you don’t have anyone to do it for you lol half of elphabas body has to be covered in green and that requires a professional to get right…
Yes that’s the joke she’s making
