Idk it was on sale after the fourth it was like 89 bucks with tax amd shipping. We are switching to cobra next year amd using this one for cakes and the cobra for shells.
Thanks for the review! I'm about to buy one of these. I was going to get a third of the 12 cue with the dinky remote but I don't want to juggle remotes. and unless I get a sugar mama, cobra is way out of my price range. I was hoping you could tell me approximately how heavy the transmitter is? 'Heavy is a sign of reliability' What would you say for ruggedness, could it survive a drop? It looks like it can be opened up easily for repair if necessary. I now will have more cues than I have e-matches (I better get on that right away)
Its actually fairly light bit can definitely take a drop. Its reliable and budget friendly. Yes cobra is amazing but way over priced. I did a pro show with this and had 0 misfires. Thanks for watching my show I used this system on is in my vids
After a year, is this still reliable? I read you moved to Cobra and I'm curious if there's anything wrong with this. I'm looking for a personal use system that works safely and reliably. Thanks for the video
how worried do i need to be with batteries. I just picked up one of these with 24 cues and want to shot 3 shows. possibly leaving the modules on for about 30 minutes for each show. should i easly be able to get 3 sets of shots from all 24 on the same set of batteries? also i am currently using cheap batteries for testing. So will need to purchase a better batteries i'm guessing.
I found it on e bay for $165 brand new. I might buy one. I was actually going to buy and i18 ignite system. I might have to buy one and try it out since it’s so cheap? My question is how many years did it hold up. I saw a post that you were selling it because you upgraded. How many shows did you use it for before you sold it?
Don't get me wrong it worked well and we did like 6 shows with it all mainly class b and some c but we had no issues with it at all. For the price well worth it. We just had to upgrade to cobra because we hit the public scene big time with pyromusical demands and very large shows that need to be fired from a long distance. Good luck man.
@@MorettiPyrotechnicsLLC i totally gotcha. As for me I’m just a fireworks enthusiast. I love blowing shit off and celebrations the 4th. I’m more of a backyard fireworks enthusiast. The most I’ll probably be setting up is 2-3k so i think an ignite i 18 with 2 modules will give me 36 channels. I can add in break out boxes in which adds an additional 5 igniters to a channel, but I’ll probably do so hand fusing as well because all 5 igniters hit at the same time i believe when using a breakout box. Anyway thanks gif your feedback i appreciate it.

Yes we picked up the 18R2 remote 2 18m modules and a 72m module. Its name is mod-zilla lol it was not cheap. All hard cases everything ready 3,000 grand.
I can't get the ignitors or initiators to work with this unit. I can't understand why. Is it possible that a Duracell or Energizer battery is any better than a AC DELCO or RAYOVAC? Do I have to purchase special initiators or ignitors?
It's a no name brand. Just look under 36 que firework firing system or something along those lines. I haven't even used it in a while. I have all cobra now.

@@MorettiPyrotechnicsLLC ok thanks, I looked at those firefly systems. They aren't bad in price if you only need a few ques, but i'll need 70 or so I'm thinking.
Hiw easy was it to get your 1.3... I was going to get mine thus tear and ran out of time to get it by the 4th so ill try next year But just curious what are some hicups I live next to a public ipen feild baseball diamond that faces an airport at outfeild end and leftside of feild.. On right s I de of feild a block over is a park My house is next to home plate and backyard is next to 1st base and backside of backyard faces block that tge park is on...street for that block is below a hill conected with backside of my backyard and i have a patio connected to garage thats next to neighbors backyard Behind patio garage is opening that also leads to neighbors backyard My question is do you think atf agents will give me a 1.3 license and store in a container like home depot sells of the rigid job box with spark proof coating and locks store it in my backyard I also wouldnt be storing all year only month prior and if rained out or left over ones didnt shoot then also month after 4th cuz will plan different date if rains Anyways great video You hook 1 4 cue up to channel and hook another up to 2nd channel Fire single and if all hooked on 4 it fire all 4 in order rapid or you can fire all 4 at same time under all and then switch to channel 2 ect.
So as far as getting your license it's easy but not easy. Costs have increased and ATF has become backed up so harder to see them. As far as a container goes you actually need to store a container basically in the middle of nowhere and it has to be approved by the atf which means it needs a special lock and it has to have a special interior as well. Can't just be some joe smo container from home Depot. So I'm gonna say that's a hard no on container bud.
It's a nameless system I left in the dirt when I purchased Cobra. Save yourself the hassles and just go Cobra. We have a very Large cobra set up and the sky is the limit.
Do not call them squibs. They are not. Your 1.3 training should have covered this. Squibs are for blasting. Say squib around the wrong person and ATF might pay you a visit. Glad you called them initiators throughout the vid.
We are licensed atf pyrotechincians so I'm not to worried about calling initiators squibs dude. Either way there used for the same purpose. Blowing shit up. This was a demo using 1.4 initiators there not even called that once you cross over into the 1.3 realm. There called e match.
I got the 1200 works great
Fireworks make everybody "Happy"
How did you get it for 80, instead of 160? / possible for us to also get it at discount ?
Was looking at possibly starting with 24 cue for like 106$

You will be fine ,but yes buy high quality batteries and you will get what you want and then some.
Do you know if them modules pair with a p1200 system
I'm unsure. Srry. I switched to cobra it's to versatile not to make switch.
Do u know where to get the db04r that have the 4 program spots on back I seem to not be able to source it
Are the igniters one time use?
Yes, all ignitors are. It's a bulb of black powder so when it's gone it's gone.
What is the battery life of the nodes while on stand by?
I had them turned on and used during a show for over an hour and tested batteries were still full power
@@MorettiPyrotechnicsLLC thank you for replying. Stay safe
What is the original price right now of this product
150 I believe
With the 4 channel boxes cam you put more than one igniter on each channel? Like if I wanted 2 things at same time?
Yes you can do at least 3 but we only ever did two per que
