  • Residents of the City View community are mobilizing against the redevelopment of 21 Withrow Avenue - a property that houses one of the oldest heritage homes in Ottawa. The developer, Theberge Homes, has placed a conditional offer that includes plans to build an elite subdivision on the property resulting in the removal of more than one hundred trees. At a rally Friday, Theberge Homes president Joey Theberge and City View Community Association president Joan Clark met to talk about the future of the property in which they’re both deeply invested - and found a lot of common ground.
