I was looking for an outdoor camera to keep an eye on my dogs in the yard when I'm not home. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe Tried a different one that was absolutely terrible, so I got these instead. They work perfectly! With 3 of these cameras I can see every corner of the yard, and they were very easy to set up. The best part is I only get the footage I want to see, not hours of videos of the bird feeder swaying in the breeze.
Great review. I have arlo cameras accidentally I removed cameras from arlo app because I changed internet provider I tried all the instructions but my phone don’t connect can you tell me why?
Hi Angelina! That's a new one, but it could be a couple of different things. You could start by resetting the cameras completely. Many cameras have a small pinhole with a button that lets you set it back to its factory settings. That should help you add the cameras to the app and your new Wi-Fi network. It could also be the app trying to use your old Wi-Fi network too. Give those a shot and if you're still having issues, Arlo's support should be able to help you out: www.arlo.com/en-us/support
Considering changing my Cove system. The outdoor camera is offline with no reset button. The only QR code is on the box it in,not on the camera itself!
Hi. The biggest problem with the inexpensive indoor cameras is the built in IR lights, LEDS. When the camera is aimed outdoors behind a window the night vision IR reflects into the camera with a complete video washout. Does the Eufy or the Wyze give you the option of turning off the IR LEDS, so an external IR sorce can be used? I found you via a search for inexpensive cameras, as a retired senior all I need is a basic camera with recording capabilities. Thank you. I have subscribed, your video was clear, concise and very WELL done. Best wishes to you, your family and subscribers.
Thank you, Thomas! If memory serves me, yes. You can turn off the IR lights on these cameras. But models like the Wyze v3 we showed here is an indoor/outdoor camera, so you can place it outside without worrying about the window getting in the way.
Hi there, will any of these camera continue recording even if the power goes down in the house so the wifi will not be accessible for the moment ? a camera with a solar panel but no internet
No, unfortunately, because they're all wireless (as in Wi-Fi) cameras, they need internet to keep recording. Unless you can find a way to keep your internet going in a power outage, these would all go down.
Hey! Katie from the video here: We're learning more about the Eufy controversy this week, but yes. That camera is a Eufy branded one. From what I've seen so far, it looks like yes, the camera (and many of Eufy's others) do store thumbnails. But they aren't exactly for spying on you or easy for hackers to access. Those thumbnails are for you to use when you get notifications and see what's going on in the app. Now, I'm still reading up on this myself, so feel free to drop any sources you have. I'd love to read up on this topic. Hope that helps!
It can if you add a microSD card inside! We've got a Wyze Cam review if you want to see that in action. support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/360029728632-MicroSD-and-Continuous-Recording
You're right. Wireless and wire-free are a bit different. We chose cameras based on the definition of wireless based on its connectivity to Wi-Fi. It's a little confusing, but glad you still enjoyed the video!
Several of our picks are indoor/outdoor cameras, but we're planning on doing a dedicated video for outdoor cameras, Mr. Big. So stick around to see our picks for that
What do YOU look for in a security camera?
For a security camera, I would care more about night vision than performance during the day
Thank you for the information.
I've watched twenty videos and so far this one makes sense!
Danke schön!
Gern geschehen, Sid! Glad you enjoyed it!

You really should include what wifi protocol you are testing with.
highly hope you can try some with Secueye Wireless cameras.

with the reo can you run constant power to it?
The Argus 3 Pro is battery only, but you can find others that use a power cord from Reolink

Google has this option.
If you look at the reviews of your top pick on Amazon, the negative ones say your video footage is stored by Eufy!!!! Do you know if that's true?

I thought this was best wireless so why are there already Atleast 2 wired cams in this video.... Not gonna finish the video as it's pointless
Nice video, very informative. And thank you for not promoting tattoos (permanent skin scribbles) as much as other women on the Internet
lol, what
Thief with blue eyes can be detected so my heart remain safe 😋
It’s not wireless, it’s Wi-Fi connected. Wireless cameras use a battery -_-. Still wonderful and informative video though!!

No top recommendations for outdoor camera? What a waste of time.

Clickbait not all wireless
"Wireless" refers to the camera's wireless connection. Sorry if this seemed misleading!
Oh wow.. You are so cute 🥰 😲
