I'm confused. The story said she was out running errands with the 3 year old and that she came home and saw something was wrong. She then says she yelled for the little boy to come to her and the burglar came downstairs . That doesn't make much sense. Not only that but if she was out running errands with the little boy, why was her purse in the house? 🤔
I wondered the same so I’m thinking she pulled into the garage from running errands got off and let the little boy into the house while she gathered the stuff from the trunk and then came into the house?
@@jennifertriden4837 I'm confused also. Did she leave him home alone when she went and ran errands? Surely not. Because then, she wouldn't be a hero but guilty of child neglect. I'm really trying to figure out how the boy was inside and she had to call for him, in a situation that she would still be called a hero. I'm trying to think positively. There has to be a good explanation. I just can't figure it out. And yeah....why is her purse in the kitchen if she was out running errands? I wish they had been more clear about what happened. At least I'm not alone. lol
@@lt.random210 very true. I think parents should be held accountable and responsible for their kids behaviour. Maybe then they’ll actually parent them and be parents. This girl needs a parade in her honor, a key to the city, a 7 day vacation in a tropical location, a deal with Nike to keep running and a bedazzled superhero cape.
I was a babysitter too when I was 14 I was taking care of 7yo girl who had medical needs and mom was nurse and taught me everything to do to take care of her. Her mom barly left her side cause she needed a lot of care and attention. I loved her like a little sister. So one day her mom decided to run some errands while I took care of her at home. She was on oxygen at the time. I was feeding her and then all of the sudden I heard a car door in the driveway and the mom told me when she would be back and it was no where near that time yet so cautiously I look at the window and see a mysterious shadow. I quickly got a portable oxygen tank and picked her up and ran upstairs hid her in the closet behind some stuff told her to be real quite called her mom and my mom immeadiatly after hiding her I told her they were trying to come in the house the door was jiggling and everything. I said the girl was safe and on a portable. Called the police hit the panic button on the alarm system they guy got scared and ran off. I checked on the girl after asking sure that the cost was clear. She was stressed of course I told her everything is ok and stay hidden and keep on her oxygen. The police and both of our moms showed up and the girl was alright and taken care of. Turns out it was the oxygen delivery guy that was trying to come in but it was so scary
What errands was she out doing without her purse? If the burglar "smashed his way in", did she not see evidence of that? If so, why did she take the little boy into the house to then have to call him back to her?
I know. I am very confused also. I'm trying to think positively since she is being called a hero, and not in jail for child neglect. I just wish they had been more clear about what happened because I can't figure out why the child was inside and she was outside. And if she was running errands why was her purse in the kitchen? Maybe she came in with the child and her purse and had to go back to the car and the child wondered off??? That is the only thing I can think of.
IKR??? I can't figure out how the kid was inside either. If she left the child home while running errands, that's not a hero. It's a felony. So I'm trying to think positively. Maybe she brought the kid and her purse inside and had to return to the car for something? The kid wonders off in the house and the nanny comes back inside, now noticing something isn't right and calls for the child? That's all I can think of that puts the child and her purse inside with her outside. I know this is just a short clip, but they should have explained this better.
He went in and made a tour with no one noticing, + the child was alone ... this is a clear irresponsibility of the nanny. She was lucky no harm had happened to the kid before she grabbed him 😟😟😟😟
Smh....pay attention...Do u not listen? They were out running errands wen the kid broke in....he was upstairs wen they got home....babysitters instincts kicked in..she was on point!! I .doubt the child burglsr wouldve done anything but run off scared....not the point...an u never kno
Happened to me when I was young someone broke into the house I was minding 2 young girls and I scooped them up ran to the living room and wedged that sofa up to it, rang there parents at the pub and they turned up with a whole army 😅
She literally took the child with her to run errands, then when she got home he probably went in the room and she was locking the door or something PLEASE watch the video
I’ll be honest with you, this is everyday stuff and it’s being overdramatisised, good job but that’s their job. They’re adults and they already know how to handle a situation, a hero act would to save a child from dying or something, the guy was a teen and clearly wasn’t gonna pay any attention to the child while robbing the house

That burglar looks like a child.
Ikr I’m like is that a kid 😮😮😊
I noticed that too.. or maybe just a short man?
He's just getting an early start to his life of crime.
Which makes it easier to underestimate the danger he could pose if he had a weapon on him.
Nothing to do after school
She really deserves the trust
Well she didn't secure her house tho...

Nanny good job great babysitter. Wow everybody needs a babysitter like you.
Grt job Nanny!!❤😊
Really nice to see a good nanny with all the bad nanny/babysitter horror stories out there.
She thought really fast and by instinct. You may have saved the kids life and your own.
It so nice to hear a positive story about a nanny. ❤😊 To many ugly stories out there.
She is amazing!! If this happens to me I’m taking out a loan so I can pay for a nice vacation for her bc there aren’t many people like her anymore
That boy must be 10 by now, i wonder if his nanny is still with him
If your ever in need of a nanny, this Beautiful , Caring and Courageous girl is the example of who’d you want her/him/they to be 10/10 ❤

That burglars a teenager. His parents should be ashamed of him and themselves. They raised a criminal already.
doubt they were very present anyways based off his behavior
