I think the “concern” not always “hate” is when someone plays or does something to such an obsessive level where their mental health becomes seriously in question. You wouldn’t expect it to be acceptable entertainment to watch someone having obsessive nervous twitches, or repetitive behaviors long after a reasonable goal has been achieved, yet it is openly encouraged with this man concerning a game

I wish they could track how many gold gyms you achieved. The fact that you only see the 1000 most recent gyms, if you move or if a gym gets removed, it goes away in your history. Long distance raid invites make it go away even faster.
Because they know anyone who even has anything over 1k is 100% spoofing.
@@countryswinging4229 after 7years ? Multiple world event? Dude, only my city (500k ppls) have 340+ gyms... I live in 2 different city, and goes in vacation around the world every year, I'm well above 1000k gyms get and more than half who is gold for years

As a 2016 player, I remember having to walk to battle and only Gen 1... no appraisal, no raids or events. Pogo got so boring after 6 months. I recently got back on it like July 2022 with like 5 johto pokemon. Highest combat power was like 1200 lol. With everything that's been added since, I fell in love with being a trainer again! I've been a fan since the anime first aired in America. Super disappointed when it first came out but now it's so worth it even with all the bs that happens with the game like crashes and pay to play. Team mystic since day 1! 07/8/2016

I love the remote raids. I live in a smaller town so it’s hard to either find people to raid or hard to get everyone together to do them in person.

See this title is accurate, I don't think anyone should be named "best player in the world" but, fleece is definitely the #1 grinder for sure.

My situation was similar to his in that I downloaded the game upon release but never even played or caught a single Pokémon until June 2017. I am now level 46, halfway to 47. I’ve only completed 1,811 field research tasks 😅 with that said I also would go through periods where I would barely play if not at all for weeks or months and then come back. Just depended on the flow of life. Love seeing and hearing about other top players in the world and their journeys. Everyone has their own unique experience with this game and that’s what makes it great!

So. I was a 2016 player myself, but after I got bored with it I uninstalled, reinstalled again in 2017, but I was in the Army during all this so eventually I uninstalled again. But this year, about 2 weeks ago, I downloaded it once again. No high CP, no shinies, nothing. But now I have 4 shinies, a couple of high CPs, and a dream. TEAM INSTINCT DAY 1

And here i was starting a whole new account and getting hyped with a 100% Roggenrola and a 100% Noivern🤧
Here are my daily goals into the game:
- Hunt at least 500 daily pokemon.
- Spin and complete all field research tasks that have encounterable pokemon.
- Try to get from all of this: hundos / nundos / shiny / PVP IV's.
- Try to do 50 trades with my alt account. Ya ya, blah blah you can't have more than one account. I know vloggers that have but they keep it secret.
He should look into Pokemon home I would love to see everything he transferred especially all the shiny Pokemon

Buddy functionality idea:
What if for a certain amount of Km walked with a buddy, the trainer were given the ability to improve the buddy’s IVs by 1? And let’s say the Km needed were based on the rarity of the Pokémon and would multiply by 1.2x each IV gained. For example, based on the eggs the Pokémon hatch from, or the level raid needed for the reward encounter, would determine if you needed 20 (tier1), 30 (tier3), 40 (tier4) or 50Km (tier5) walked for a single IV improvement. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Charmander, they would need to walk 148.832km (round to 149) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Gible, they would need to walk 297.664km (round to 298) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs. If a trainer had a 10/15/15 IV Mewtwo, they would need to walk 446.496km (round to 447) with the buddy Pokémon to get to 100% IVs.
Pros:
- This would make spoofing or radar services less profitable and encourages more gameplay with the same Pokémon.
- Entices player to “bond” with a single Pokémon for longer and therefore play the game more often to get the coveted 100% dex.
Cons:
- All players would have access to the best Pokémon if they walk enough
- Pvp players would need to make sure to avoid gaining hearts walking their buddy, or not apply the “bonding” IVs earned.
If you can think of any other pros/cons, reply to this comment so we can share our thoughts about the idea and maybe someone at Niantic will pick it up! Ideas welcomed and I’ll update the post accordingly.

Pros. It’d make like you’re saying people play more interact with a Pokémon longer make it what they want plus you don’t got to wait a year or more to see that Pokémon again that you want to be the best but
cons would be every raid battle between player, grunts or bosses would be easy to beat in my opinion they way my fights have been lately with mega tyranitar are getting easy smh but knowing what to use could wipe players an so on out in a flash I like the fact that the game challenges you to be better learn your Pokémon for what is good against what not because I’m new i don’t know a thing about Pokémon so I like that challenge in it i feel adding a feature like this would make that disappear.
If someone from Niantic were to see this an want to do it I’m all down don’t get me wrong but there’s going to be a lot more to change than just that to still keep that challenge an excitement certain people get from it. I feel that what makes Pokémon go what it is you can grind an get there eventually but also just spend money to get there as well

I obviously have some big Pokemon I need candy for either megas, hundos, special abilities, etc. but I have some shinies and other Pokemon I just like tagged to be a future buddy with. I tried spoofing. And yes, it definitely took away my excitement of the game and same with fleeceking, I quit Pokemon Go right after. But yeah, after playing back around 2019, I played again without spoofing and my love for the game actually went right back in
Spoofing just removes the entire core purpose of the game, so it makes sense why it ruins the experience. Going out and hunting something for weeks or months on end and finally achieving it is such a great feeling, especially when you are doing it with friends who might be trying to do the same. With spoofing, you just get instant gratification every time, which I'm sure at first feels amazing, but it will get to a point where you don't really have any reason to get excited anymore. Most hardcore spoofers just do it to fuel their gambling addiction anyway via raids and incubators. I know someone in my local that spoofs and they've spent more money on this game then what I make in a year which just absolutely blows my mind.
@@Forged4War206 nah spoofings cheapers, cause you can guarantee you get coins every day, and don't have to walk or use the gas in your car. back when i spoofed i enjoyed it more, cause I could just watch tv and play the game and enjoy. didn't have to worry about going outside and doing something right then and there. and I'm not lazy, i exercise every day. i think the raiding actually makes exercising harder, cause you pretty much have to drive to them, cause there too far to walk and you'll miss them
@@Forged4War206 I feel like it ruins half the game but unlocks the other half for a lot of people. Lots of us live somewhere with A pokestop and gym, barely any spawns, no local community to help with high level raids. So for me my spoofing account lets me partake in things like raids, building competitive raid/gym/pvp teams, and building a diverse collection. I kept it separate from my main account because I still enjoy playing that way too, but it's two different games and I love them both.

Deleting shinies is one thing my community thinks I’m crazy for doing. I don’t need 30 shiny teddiursa. Lol. I trade a few to players who couldn’t play and then delete the rest. I’ve deleted so many shinies, it’s crazy.

Remote raids destroyed my local community, im from a small community we had about a dozen loyal players who really kept it going but then remote raids happened and there was no longer a reason for them to go on the discord to find people to raid with and a discord is dead probably a couple months now since the last post in the raids chat.

They’re both mid but Solgaleo is better for PvP and Lunala for raids. But again, neither are very good atm due to limited move sets.

People who live in urban big cities have a MUCH easier time finding everything.
I always divide everything I see by 100 if the player is from an urban area to actually gauge their dedication and skill.
Like someone from NYC with 3000 shinys caught is the equivalent of someone in rural Alabama having 30 shinies.
Essentially if the person from Alabama had 100 shinies they would be a better player than the NYC player with 3,000 shinies.
