Being a player since day 2 and been watching reversal and nick and Brandon ever since I can remember when the game started this made me feel very nostalgic 😢
Lol I played at time like 2016 and then leaved the game after 2-3 months I still regret it, but still started this year got 2 hundos 37 shinies 1 shiny kyurem till now
For me I loved how difficult gen 1 and 2 were at the very beginning of the game. It really got me out and about walking long distances and even running to catch new Pokémon. Now we are just spoon fed new pokemon in the new gens. Also loved the original introduction of mystery boxes that had legendary pokemon
I'm glad they made it easier, as I've got way too much shit irl to be spending on Pogo. Nowadays I can spend 20-30 minutes a day, feel satisfied and end my session
Some new pokemon are still rare though e.g. frigabax so not exactly true about them spoon feeding us new pokemon though I do see some truth to your comment 🤷♂️ legendary pokemon debuted in raids not research breakthrough if you're referring to that

I started in February of 22. The nerfs have kind of effected me but I got over it. I’ve put together a pretty incredible account with in a little over a year and the less raiding has been kind of good for how much I spend play and switched my play style.
The fact that he was the top players and is insanely humble truly shows the community has lost such an awesome man but hey hell be back fo next year go fest ayy🎉

I would love if pokemon Go did a leaderboard for badges and stuff. Bunch of friends of mine had a spread sheet and that would keep me going to see how i ranked with them in everything.
The best part of Pokemon Go was the early days when there would be mass people in public areas running because a Dragonite spawned on their nearby list. Those moments will never be in the game again, just because there aren't as many people playing.
I remember Pikachu Comm Day I was out with some friends and I got 2 shiny male and a shiny female. I asked one of my friends if they wanted to transfer the female Pikachu because I only collected male ones. I would’ve deleted it myself but I wanted someone else to experience the joy of transferring a shiny. I also posted a video in my local FB page of me transferring about 15-18 Mewtwo (had to be done one by one).
I noticed mostly all go players transfers their shinies I send them to Pokémon home And do random trades to help out who ever wants a shiny greninja Chespin.. etc same with legendaries
I'm making a full collection in Home, so many of my shinies go there. Most others I trade with a friend. After playing years of Pokemon games (without getting many shinies) it's SO hard for me to transfer them.
2016 and 2017 were peak Pokemon go. The game was tough and now everything has become easy. The last xp event I farmed 175 million xp even with working.
I started during the pandemic and really appreciate his perspective of how reversing the bonuses effected us. Great video. Seems like a nice guy with an awesome collection. :) I also have 1 shiny nundo - Snorlax. It will be lv 50 some day. :)
@@fowler0028 Thats not the point, if you bothered to critically think about the situation then you would understand why people are upset. People want Pokemon Go to be a more at-home friendly game. And no that doesn't mean to make the game completely playable at home, it just means it's possible to play the game even a little if you're at home. Bc as of right now, you cannot do anything unless you are walking, maybe like one or 2 pokemon will spawn within an hour if you're lucky. But they added changes that worked really well for everyone and made the game just better and more fun, and made it playable for people with disabilities, or for people who are immuno-compromised. It's very, VERY, difficult for those type of people to play the game. And some people just don't have time either, between working a job or more one job, potentially having a family, and having responsibilities it'll be hard for them to play too. So them keeping the changes would of benefitted literally everyone, and made the game just so much better. Everyone understood that they would remove the bonuses, that's not the point, but the people tried to convince Niantic to keep the changes bc of how much better it made the game for everyone, even for people with disabilities and immuno-compromised immune system. But they still removed it, and now bc of that people with disabilities can't play. people with immuno-compromised immune systems can't play, and made the game ONLY playable if you're outside walking. And some people just can't do that. It quite literally made the game worse for everyone. The people could live in such a dangerous area that it would literally be risking their own lives for a game. Me, for example, I was just walking around with friends at some park, and we heard gun shots go off that was relatively close to us and decided GTFO there. Why get rid of the changes if 1) it benefitted literally everyone, 2) it made the game playable for people who couldn't play the game at all before. and 3) Literally almost everyone in the community wanted the changes to stay, and loved the bonuses. Companies make video games to form communities and to have a huge player base, and if those communities and players are asking for one thing, but the company gives them the complete opposite and makes the game worse to the community and players. why would the people/players stay and play the game? it doesn't make sense.

When we all first started in 2016 to 2018 when Us OG's were left in the dark...His 10pm videos of what to expect the next mornong in the U.S. or what was going on was invaluable for me to convey to other game developer co-workers and pokemon players...Got 1 shoutout from him during a livestream when Ditto was released...."Dittos okay...but ya got to dodge EVERYTHING...#1 tranrtips livestream shout-out was letting him know Mystic 7 was in the hospital due to ODing on caffeine....But I digress...great seeing Reversal on RUclips again...now back to our regularly scheduled programming.
My ace league stat is about the same...I remember being pissed when they did away with the old gyms and "training" then the only way to get it was battle the team bosses in training, which is INSANELY boring because they don't play good enough or correctly.
gotta remember that you couldn't select a group of pokemon to bin, you had to do it individually back in the day too ... whole different lvl of game then !
