very pretty stitch and very well presented ...clear, concise, and well timed ...the knitting tip about the yo from between a "k and p stitch" GREAT ...THANKS FOR REPEATING IT ...one thing I would like know is the weight of yarn and needle size used in the demonstration ...giving both metric and US sizes would include all knitters ...now where is that subscribe button
thom clemmer Thanks. Glad you liked it. The needle and yarn I used are written below each video. In this video I used Clover Bamboo Straight Needles size 8 (5mm) and Red Heart Soft Yarn in Seafoam. I believe it is a 4ply medium weight yarn.
thom clemmer I agree. Very good explanation if you flip your work:') I'm not flipping my work though. I'm using the round and kind of hard to figure out how to do certain parts backwards. Which is half of the pattern. Otherwise if I was working straight needles it is very clear!
Are there printed instructions for this stitch anywhere? And it would be very helpful if, once you've finished a repeat on the row, you would show us how we get from the end of one, to starting a new repeat (from the *). You only do one repeat, and I"m confused about how to segue into the next * to * repeat.

yeisy zabala Work a swatch of this stitch and get your sts per inch. The your hat size, adult around 22" and child/teen 16" or 19". Work your st count to your inches, then see how many repeats of the pattern fit in that count, add or subtract sts to fit the pattern. Work the body between 6 or 8 inches, then decrease. Since you don't want to mess the pattern up, go with a rapid decrease, by K2tog for 1 or 2 rows until there is 30 or less stitches then finish off.Hope that was understandable.
Just the one tip - yarn over from a knit to a purl has cleared up an enormous piece of confusion for me. Thank you! Great tutorials, btw.
Thank you! I have a beautiful yarn that I've been saving to make a scarf for my sister and this pattern is PERFECT
I love that pattern. I was looking for something else when I stumbled on this! Thank you....going to check out your other videos :)
This is a very pretty stitch. I think it would make a very pretty scarf. I like the way the sides are wavy. Thanks!

Thank you for easy to follow instructions :) My question is that if I want to continue to knit beyond 24 rows should I start from the row 1st. THX.
So pretty
Wonderfull!!
Спасибо! 👍
Very nice - thank you
i get stuck from row 5 and up when I am doing on the round. I can't seem to wrap my mind around how to apply this pattern without turning it over.
could i use this pattern with thick yarn and needle number 5
Could this stitch be used with fingering weight yarn?
Hey, I am new at knitting and started out with 29 stitches. Now I have more....did I mess up, or doe the number of stitches vary from line to line?
As far as I know the st count stays the same. Make sure your not making unknown YO or forgetting your SSK.
it's kind of hard to figure out when I'm using on the round to make a hat. :'| is there one for the round?
