I’d be seriously pissed off having to slow down for that coned chicane on the straight and not being able to rag the arse off it,having said that driving a Ferrari around Brands Hatch is still pretty special.
Can you imagine the crashes at paddock hill bend if that chicane wasn’t there

A chicane on the main straight, hardly much of a driving experience, trundling around at those speeds
Nice gran turismo 7 gameplay, sad to see that it’s only 30fps.
I drove one of these on Friday at castle combe the instructor was brilliant I got it upto 130 so I was happy. Also drove a Lamborghini and ariel atom the atom was in a completely different league i also got that upto 130mph
I did this and they would not let u open it up.. bloody boring
You went with the wrong company, if you ever do this do it with Supercar Experience Group in Scotland. I drove a 650S after driving a couple of their cars, and they properly push you to drive it fast, and let you send it down the straights

@Dan Wilkes can't really do over 125 on the streight and that is really pushing it even in supercars and lightweight sports cars. They put it there to slow drivers down so they don't crash into those coming out of the pit on the righthand side.
Great video, but really it was only 2 laps, barely let you go on your third and then had to pit, and also only half the total BH track. hmm.
When you get there, they sell an add-on for a ‘tour of the track’ where they show you the line. It’s completely optional. It’s supposed to help you get more out of the laps that you do have. If you don’t pay for this add-on, I think it’s something like £10-20, then you have to use your first lap of your allocation to specifically follow the line/learn the course. You have a slip for the day, and it gets marked with whether you have or haven’t done the ‘tour of the track’ so the instructors are aware. The time in the cars is quite limited, so unless you played ALOT of gran trurismo potentially worth it.

allton471 yea they prompt you to change up quite early.. and you have to follow their instruction. I can see why they do it.. imagine if every person that got in it absolutely waited until the red limit to change gear
@@owain6564 Yeah you just wasted your money mate. Jonathan palmer track day is expensive but you get to absolutely hoon some wicked machinery, and thats what its all about.
That drive isn’t experiencing remotely what the F430 is about sub 5,000 rpm it’s like a hot hatch

Spoilt by the chicane in the middle of the straight. I never heard the engine get anywhere near maximum revs at any point. Rip off experience.
What a boring experience ... I want to fork out £500 to absolutely tear up the track in one of these. Not sit there listening to an old man tell me what to do.
