  • The day didnt start off so windy but that quickly changed. There was also the assumption that we could finish this in one day. That was also not the case since we left the job site around 9pm in march. Drone footage starts at 10:45 and was shot by Johnny. Thank you!

There's an art to the way you move around a tree.

Okay maybe you would but I wouldn't be a happy camper, number one thing is being able to go home at the end of the day

If the climber says can you please move something to the ground guy there doesn't need to be an explanation why the groundguy needs to do it simple is that I was a groundguy for many years if my climber ever asked me to do anything the answer was OK and I ran over and I did it now that I'm a climber for the last 11 years I expect the same thing great job buddy

What was the wind speed that day? The video does not do it justice I bet. I am asking because I am learning to climb and my ass puckers around a gentle 20mph breeze.

I’m not entirely sure but gusts up to 35 ish. I’m not so sure. But it was shaky to say the least. Im convinced that I’m literally as good as my groundies help me to be. For me, creating good working relationships with them always helped me to be my best and come home safely. I think that’s the key to be effective while production climbing in general. But more specifically while taking on this type of risk.
