Hey QB. Nice Video, I gave up on the Fv215b 183 grind.
Thursday night was a great night for me. I have dusted off my tier 7 Scorpion and under 1 hour I got 3 ace with it. One was almost 1500 base XP. I think WG will have the M56 Scorpion in the calendar. 2,6 k damage, 2,9 k assist in a tier 8 battle.

HESH rounds are some of the most powerful anti-tank rounds in existence-the tip of the round literally squashes up against the armor, and then the explosive detonates. this then reverberates throughout the tank, and actually shakes of bits of the armor inside the tank. Essentially, you're shooting the tanks own armor at the crew and the modules. If it can't penetrate the armor, the more extreme the slope, the more damage it does, as the squash head can cover more area. Well played, Britain. Well played.
ERROR ERROR well, pretty much any modern tank armor counters any kind of shaped charge ammunition. Still effective at shooting cars and gun trucks in some 3rd world country engagements.
HESH (High-Explosive Squash Head) isn't shaped-charge. You're thinking of HEAT (High-Explosive Anti-Tank).
No, I am thinking of HESH, not HEAT. Those funnel very hot gasses into the armor of a tank, they do not shake of the inner armor into the fighting compartment.
"HESH rounds are thin metal shells filled with plastic explosive and a delayed-action base fuze. The plastic explosive is "squashed" against the surface of the target on impact and spreads out to form a disc or "pat" of explosive. The base fuze detonates the explosive milliseconds later, creating a shock wave that, owing to its large surface area and direct contact with the target, is transmitted through the material. In the case of the metal armour of a tank, the compression shock wave is conducted through the armour to the point where it reaches the metal/air interface (the hollow crew compartment), where some of the energy is reflected as a tension wave. At the point where the compression and tension waves intersect, a high-stress zone is created in the metal, causing pieces of steel to be projected off the interior wall at high velocity. This fragmentation by blast wave is known as spalling, with the fragments themselves known as spall. The spall travels through the interior of the vehicle at high velocity, killing or injuring the crew, damaging equipment, and/or igniting ammunition and fuel. Unlike high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) rounds, which are shaped charge ammunition, HESH shells are not specifically designed to perforate the armour of main battle tanks. John DeRouen shaped charge is a charge shaped to focus the effect of the explosive energy. So yeah, ya know.

Fine tank to duel other T18's with, compare your standing when not acting like the most mobile howitzer in your tier. Was fun while it lasted.

nah Pearl River was shit as well. That was truly a corridor map because there was hardly any crossfire opportunities between the middle, right & left flanks.

Nah man, super conqueror is completely balanced coz it has the best firepower of all heavy tanks while being invincible when hulldown and is allowed to sidescrape better than another tier 10 that has the turret at the back called the FV215b. Both are tier 10 and is definitely fair for a 215b to fight the super conqueror
the gaming pizaa lower plate seems bigger than it really is coz the spaced armour on the upper plate adds an extra layer of armour to lower plate, but since that's spaced armor you'll bounce and it makes you feel bylat man totally understand that feeling

I know. The high caliber guns actually did sound powerful. Now they sound like a 90mm.
They should bring back the gun sounds from around patch 0.7.5 and make them caliber specific.
There *must* be a mod out there that has these gun sounds...

I really like the sound on high caliber guns or the derp guns back in the day. There's that slap sound to it.

big calibers did indeed sound more powerful before. No idea why they decided to "dumb" down the sounds there.

wow look at those shots actually landing inside the aiming reticle, what i wouldn't give to be able to play back in the old days.
i agree 100% for as much as the rounds cost the tank should never miss. it should be put back to how it originally was! nothing annoys me more then watching meds our shots in exactly where they are aiming running along 50kph and my fully aimed in shot, not moving, and they are not moving shoots outside the reticle.

Regarding the Sturmtiger: it was not only modeled, it was extensively tested too. But devs failed to find a role for it so it never went into production.
The T30 when it was a heavy pls.

I mean, it was historically more of an spg than a tank, though.
I'm happy when someone brings up the crouching Sturmtiger whenever this map gets featured.
I'd love to share my OI replay on Lakeville where it was just me, a VK3001P on the enemy team and everyone else was tier IV.
And this was when the tank just came out as well. Quite literally the best matchmaking a person has ever had in the history of world of tanks.
I don't think we're ever getting a Sturmtiger (a.k.a. sturmmoesorwagen 606/4 mit 38cm RW61) because it fired 376kg rocket assisted mortar shells.
I miss this game. Played a bunch with my friends, they left the game though. One of the funnest tanks to play was this beast. I once had a 11k game in it.
Very much liked the look back. Its good for new players to see what might happen to their game as they play. Looking forward to seeing a new vid everyday. Cheers.

It's funny because this map wasn't removed it was just taken out of game rotation just like 90% of World of Tanks Maps. And this map is available in rotation in the Xbox version of World of Tanks.

*_The FV215b 183 was my first Tier 10 vehicle. I got it a little over 5 years ago and it was the only Tier 10 I regret rushing down the Tech Tree to... Most tunks I just play what I feel like playing at the time, however I ONLY played that line until I got the FV215b 183.._*

Gio Barca I highly doubt that becouse karstas is a finnish player (currently in RSOP) and I think that an adult would write better english than that.
Karstas is still playing his last battle was yesterday and he's most played tank is t34 with 2k wn8 and he has lot more ties 10 now !!!!

I never played on it, but I would probably enjoy playing on it, if they bring it back as an HD map.

hmm, maybe it was him then. But I'm almost 100% sure Jingles has featured this as "normal" replay years ago.
QB featured this years ago and he also had Karstas comment live on the replay.

Yes he is playing and at the moment i posted this 2nd of december 2017 he has 57 337 battles in WoT, last one recorded at the first of december.
We need this map back! and also old arty (before 9.17) back and old sounds!
That shot on the E-100 is still possible today. He didn't hit the front of the turret but rather the "police bar" across the top, which can still be pen'd for full damage.
This video was uploaded before 4mins, but takes 10mins to watch. Can anyone explain me why so many people like/dislike videos before actually seeing them?

Quicky, If you start asking for it WG might pay attention. Wouldn't it be fun if WG started rotating in every patch one of the old maps, and then replace it next patch with another one. So we could play Dragon Ridge for a few weeks, then Port, then Pearl River, etc. Just for giggles. With the new map blocker feature people can turn it off if they don't like it, but I think a lot of people would love playing some of the old maps.
50k XP before I can own it in my garage... With one of the busiest semesters of my academic life, this was a difficult grind which I started 10 days ago. Last weekend x2 xp all day saved my arss, helped me get through AT 15 in just 2 days.

There is a playable SturmTiger in the blitz in the form of the Vindicator UM
This map was a tad frustrating for a bad player in high tiers, but I loved it in the lower tiers.
Did you just reupload this QB? I watch this already few years ago.... I still remember this one.
WG would doo good to just put all these "removed" maps back in because nowadays every map is fucked in one way or another, but I rather had more variety and a greater selection to enter rotation than the shit we have now.
Also, having more maps in general (bad map or not) can allow for a slight increase in map-exclusion and so give a bit more player agency, players already have next to zero agency in this game anyways.
Just my 2 cents.

We finally have the Sturmtiger.
I remember those days... Makes todays issues seem small in comparison.
The T92 laughs at your punt 275mm penetration with it's AP of 370mm. And the Jagdpanzer E-100 scoffs at that value, it's HEAT has 420mm of penetration
I still remember my first ever encounter with this thing, getting one-shotted in my full-health IS-3 in the corridor of death on Himmelsdorf.
I used to like this map. I was even thinking about it the last couple of days.
The fv183 has these excellent features on the consoles still.
you need to do the KV-1S before it was nerfed... before it was nerfed, back when it was able to earn the nickname Kill Vehicle - 1 Shot

Those old sounds are absolutely better than the new sounds 😭, WG why you do this??? I especially like the old gun sounds best : )!
Before it was nerfed? Oh so many tanks you could this on. The old T18, the KV-1S. Any 105 derp gun on tier 4 to 7 when HEAT had 150 pen. The Jumbo back then was dirty as all heck.
Nerfing this thing's HESH was one of the rare good ideas from Wargaming. Sadly this global HESH nerf also screwed the 7/1 out of a proper gold round.
please do this format for the KV-1 Sport, the t-57 heavy, the t22 medium and maybe the Bert
