One thing for people viewing this video. Look at the tanks in the matchup, There are only three premiums and only two tanks that were not easily penable from the front with 170mm were tier 9.
Ah exactly man, and if you noticed, no hull down bulls.t, no Bourrasque clipping you in 2 seconds, no BZ hitting you for 700dmg, all tech tree tanks fighting against tech tree tanks with all their different pros and cons, german tanks with the general DPM, soviet tanks with the alpha damage etc... You knew exactly what to do against certain tanks and they knew too what to do against you. Now the BZ and the AE Phase 1 just peaks above the ridge line, evaporate your HP and you cant to anything about it cuz you cant pen their turret and HE shells are bullcr.p too. Arties vere actually dangerous not just ANNOYING like now. WG should forget this stunning mechanic.

I remember partially the very, very old first sound (before these one) and back then the game did not felt the same, more realistic with the way the scope looked and distorted the edges of the screen, the fact it was slower, heavies were heavies that you couldn't pen frontally, you had to get their sides... Good old days...
this does bring back memories. the game was definitely better in a lot of way back then. If we could have some of the life changes of today with the game back then it would be so much better.
This was the era of when I played and the nostalgia hit so hard watching this. Been trying to get back into the game now and seeing this just highlights how different it is now. Actual tanks or tank prototypes, maps that are now gone, fewer premiums, more thoughtful gameplay. Wild
Was and Still is my Favorite tank. sadly no longer play it after it was nerfed. Stalingrad was a blast to play again, was my favorite map. Great memories. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Console got the 10 round auto loader back as a premium. It's now tier 8 but has has +2/-2 mm. So effectively it's the same tank and still is great fun. I hope WG also release it on PC in the future.
I love those nostalgia trips. Loved it when WG brought out 0.7.0 version of the game, for us old-timers to roam around and experience the game as it was, back in the days when we were young and dumb. No stupid tanks, no premium spam ! It was wonderful.
Some of my fondest memories of this game are platooning with my good buddy in two Bulldogs with autoloaders and absolutely demolishing anything we came across...3k clip damage at tier 7 felt so good

As I'm no longer an active player in WoT. I'd like very much, to see more of this "nostalgic" content. It would also have me watching your vids again. Which I also once enjoyed a great deal.
Fun fact: the airstrikes in the start of stalingrad, at the dark 1 line area, dealt damage. I once got oneshot by one in the forbidden area at around E1/F1.
The M41 with the 10-round autoloader was the most fun I ever had in this game marking a tank to 100%. Played since 2012 till 2021, and it was never more fun that that era.
So many memories come back. Just yesterday I was searching through YT for pre 2014 videos of different maps in this game; just to compare them to what we have now. Also how I used to wait to have my fav tanks getting turned to HD. T-54, Maus, Tiger I were one of the first tanks to be turned into HD. Still remember the original renders were a little too dark so these tanks got changed later on.
I remember that the old E-75 model had a purplish tinge to it and the IS-7 was a *much* paler shade of green, with the good 'ole MG propped up on top of the turret.
The first Sand River map looked like it was before they added a gap in the northeast to get through the mountain. Man, I loved the 10-shot autoloader -- you could deal some pain.
@@michael_0073 yeah, I still get very good games in it. It's not a bad tank. I just think it used to be me more enjoyable. With the new physics it's a lot of more sluggish. Also you can't pen any higher tier tanks anymore.
Man the autoloader nerf on the M41 had to be one of the most brutal nerfs I can remember. It didn't get the alpha damage buff like the single shot gun, staying at 150 alpha, and they took away 4 of the shells, but the worst part was that it didn't get a reload buff, so you were reloading for just as long with WAY less damage potential. They destroyed the soft stats of the gun as well. It went from the meta gun to being a straight up punishment to use even over the incredibly underwhelming single shot gun. Poor tank got nerfed into the ground when they made it a tier 8
In 2016 I grinded up that line as my first one, just to get the 10 round autoloader. Then they changed the lines. At least the time capsule of these replays are still here!
Seeing Stalingrad again made me think about the other maps which had been removed and I only just realised that Kharkov had been removed earlier this year. I hadn't even realised. And shoutout to Mittengard that spawn was too funny
I remember when the M41 had the 10 shot auto loader. OMG it was really OP. You could zoom in and circle a tank, unload 10 rounds sending it back to garage.
This tank sat at my top exp earned (1898 base) for many years for dealing 4946 damage and 5 frags vs tier 7-9s with the autoloader back in 2015. I still remember that battle. Only recently I exceeded that exp value... with Churchill III, 1926 base exp, which wasn't even an ace tanker! Seriously, this tanks exp coefficient is ridiculous now.
WZ-132 was amazing as well before the introduction of tier 10 LTs and it was needed. I used it to beat a lot of LT missions for the 260, did 11k assistance with it on Siegfried Line.
16:43 In my opinion the addition of cooldown consumables was a welcome concept on it's own, but it simply came at too high a price. Before patch 9.18 many vehicles I enjoyed could forgo a medkit entirely by relying on a commander trained in the Jack of all Trades skill, and this update undeniably marked the end for that playstyle. It was a time I strongly felt the game had lost something important, without gaining nearly enough in return from what came in it's place... I didn't quit on the spot, but in hindsight of what eventually came later I'm tempted to say I wish I had. Artillery was always polarizing, but forcing the rest of the game to recognize it for the unwaveringly constant annoyance it suddenly became rather than the dangerous but inconsistent presence it had been was a catastrophic leap in the wrong direction.
Oh boy the nostalgia. What i would give to go back in time and play then again. When there were still 90% techtree tanks, which were much better balanced than all the premium tier 8s. Downside being of course that you had no info without using modpacks. I'd still love to see a "WoT Classic" mode. But tbf im not sure if it would work out,
Dear QB, I like this video of the good old times. Thx for making it! But one thing is to say: I never did hate the old artillery, but I do hate the new one. For me it was less a problem to get a single one shot all 100 matches, than beeing perma-stunned the whole match each match with 3 arties. May be I'm a rare player, but I would love to have the old arty back instead the current one. Of course not more than 2 of them per side.... ;-)
Bulldog was my all time favorite LT back in the day... I mainly use the 10 shot autoloader and 3 marked it with this gun.. Now it just sits in my garage gathering cobwebs
Ahh QB thanks for the memories of a time that I played the game. I loved playing light tanks. Light tank play back then when you had the small guns made it much more strategic, and had to really pick your battles much more carefully. It was a time when players would get mad at you for what you did. It was a great time indeed. Thanks again woohoo I miss those days.
I would really like to see more very old replays. It is so nice and nostalgic to see the tanks from earlier. I would like to see the old AMX ELC bis again.
i remember back then when quickybaby and the mighty jingles was commentator for wot esports and the meta line up back then was t54 ltwt + m41 walker bulldogs.
I really miss Stalingrad, I loved that map. It was so enjoyable that we had multiple opportunity for flanking the enemy without the constant crossfire.
These were the good old days. Remember the ELC AMX with the good 90mm gun with 170 penetration? Or the AMX 13 90 with the 6 round autoloader doing 1440 damage per clip. And then there were the removed autoloaders of the SP I C and the 59-16.
Just got my second MOE on my Bulldog this past weekend. It's a decent light, but no where near what it once was. It's a victim of the modern fast paced OP T8-T10 game's power creep. Back then, it was the OP fast power creep!
Ahhhh yes I have fun memories of Stalingrad map... Went to the west side building where heavies used to go and accidentally shot some french heavy, that blocked my way (back then you actually damaged them in terms of HP) and he let me into the spot and pushed my KV-1S (that used to be a T6 Heavy frankly the best in the game) out and killed me with that.... The 2015 WoT saltyness.... I relived that in my mind with that video thank you for making me re-live that trauma QB! xD
8.6 was the last patch I ever played. Talking about this blast from the past is how I remember this game. I don't really know what's changed since then.
M5 Stuart with howitzer was the most op light tank in the game. Nobody knew about it for some reason though. It had enough armour to bounce a lot of equal tier tanks and a 5 second reload on a deep gun that could one shot pretty much anything. And it did 70kph. I used to get like an 85% win rate in it, and I wasnt even that good of a player.
I miss the days of proper weakspots. I loved in that 1st replay where you deliberately aimed at the tiger's machine gun port so you could pen it. So much more tactical than it is now with very few obvious weak points.
Loved the bulldog back when it had the auto loader, suited my playstyle to a t! I was gutted when I came back to the game and found it as it is now, was one of only a couple tanks I 3 marked.
Damn, I remember watching this replay all those years ago. Tier X LT’s weren’t even a thought in WG Goddamn, I remember playing as my T29 on Stalingrad! Whole lotta nostalgia going on
The Walker Bulldog is the reason why I went with the American tech tree. When I started WoT in 2014, I still don't know what nation I will start playing. But when someone told me to try the American light tank branch and saw how good the then released M41 WB is, I knew that this will be it. And yeah, it pains me to see that the two of my favorite tanks in the branch, the M41 and the T49 has been performing poorly today in 2022 when I played their op versions way back in the day.
Version 9.1 is when I started playing, couldn’t believe it has been so long. Unfortunately I miss the good old but chaotic time when physics were not really a thing and t50-2s are flying around the map. Light tanks were all I played back then, had so much fun killing all the arties, really miss the old times with chat, good arty, good HE less power creep etc. I was so sad when they nerfed the bulldog, it was my favourite tank, the very first tank I two marked… But honestly, I don’t understand why they would nerfed it, I love the light tank gameplay back then, especially the m41. super fun, with high skill caps yet challenging with plus one mm. To be frank, average players wouldn’t have made a huge impact even with the bulldog due to the challenging nature of lts game play, but decent players can have a huge blast, and the bad mm back then ensured this tank can’t go seal clubbing tier sixes, unless you consider tier 8 seal clubbing too. I really miss the good old times, the golden years of wot. Come on Serb, bring back 5 arty per team, all chat, old HE, buff the good old boys like the m41, T54, 50B and bring back WOT. I miss all the old maps too… The game is so so much more forgiving these days… Why play a game if it doesn’t have any challenges at all. Oh QB Loved your mod pack!

I played WOT & the M41 back then and everything you've said rang a bell, great video thanks!
As someone who has been playing since 2013, these are some of my favorite types of videos, reminds me of where it all started :)
I'll be honest, i really like more the gun sounds back then! They really sounded awesome! When the E 100 or the KV-2 shot was like a thunder strike!
I remember partially the very, very old first sound (before these one) and back then the game did not felt the same, more realistic with the way the scope looked and distorted the edges of the screen, the fact it was slower, heavies were heavies that you couldn't pen frontally, you had to get their sides... Good old days...
Man, the nostalgia trip I got from this. The old crew voices, engine and gun sounds are a sweet reminder of when this game was actually fun
What a nostalgia. Love to see vids like this. Also reminded me of the ELC AMX back then, which was so fun as a light
this does bring back memories. the game was definitely better in a lot of way back then.
Wild
Ive been playing since 2012, very nostalgic QB. Keep making these before it was nerfed vids. Old school kids will want to reminisce ⭐⭐⭐👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💯
I miss Staingrad so much now, should have never been taken away
Did they ever give a reason for Stalingrad's removal?
I think red pigs refferes to a players with bad XVM ratings, aslo known as tomatoes back then.
I hope one day they will add this server again
Some of my fondest memories of this game are platooning with my good buddy in two Bulldogs with autoloaders and absolutely demolishing anything we came across...3k clip damage at tier 7 felt so good
this was so nice seeing some old school game play. ive been on wot for 8 years. the game has changed so much i dont play much anymore. i now get my fill of wot watching your videos.
Thanks for this, loved it. Never played this tank again after they removed the 10 shot autoloader.
Being an old player from back then, this video felt so good to watch :)
As I'm no longer an active player in WoT. I'd like very much, to see more of this "nostalgic" content.
It would also have me watching your vids again. Which I also once enjoyed a great deal.
Little note
If you do a "Befor it was nerfed", can you bring in the old intro ?
That would be so cool and nostalgic !
Fun fact: the airstrikes in the start of stalingrad, at the dark 1 line area, dealt damage. I once got oneshot by one in the forbidden area at around E1/F1.
love these before it was nerfed vids! bring back good ol memories
Way way back we have KV 2 , ELC amx with 90 mm tier 5 , E25 deadly camper , and the iconic bulldog with 10 autoloader clip 😊
all dead, except for the E25. Makes you wonder huh
@@TotoGeenen with the vision system it's not much scarier now xd it's used to be scary but not a lot these days
@@michael_0073 yeah, I still get very good games in it. It's not a bad tank. I just think it used to be me more enjoyable. With the new physics it's a lot of more sluggish. Also you can't pen any higher tier tanks anymore.
I kinda miss the Stalingrad map, I used to just go ham on that one. Great Vid QB.
These before it was nerfed videos make me miss how good the game was back in the day.
The good old days of world of tanks before tier 10 light tanks. Those days are missed 😢
10 shot magazine bulldog was the peak of WoT fun. I miss those days :’(
Seeing Stalingrad again made me think about the other maps which had been removed and I only just realised that Kharkov had been removed earlier this year. I hadn't even realised. And shoutout to Mittengard that spawn was too funny
I miss Sacred Valley the most. It seemed so unique and had multiple avenues of attack, including a covered assault straight up the middle.
Really enjoyable videos from back in the day when I used to play the game. Keep it up!
Remember when T92’s still had AP shells? With like 310 mm of pen or something like that?
I remember when the M41 had the 10 shot auto loader. OMG it was really OP. You could zoom in and circle a tank, unload 10 rounds sending it back to garage.
Eyesun has played recently, his top 7 tanks played include 6 artillery lmao.
Nostalgia. I remember rolling out in a Tiger 1 and screaming German in All Chat trying to scare the enemy, Miss those days
For a long while my most XP in a battle was in the 10 round bulldog, so fun to play!
Wow big throw back at 9:47 the beach on that map was sort of annoying lol. I had very little knowledge of the game back then though 😅😅
I'm 22 and looking back gush darn it this makes me feel old remembering play wot for many years
i remember back then when quickybaby and the mighty jingles was commentator for wot esports and the meta line up back then was t54 ltwt + m41 walker bulldogs.
Jeez, so many good old memories in this video, the old 10clip bulldog, the old vk 28.01 with 105mm.
I do miss the detailed mini map.
Just got my second MOE on my Bulldog this past weekend. It's a decent light, but no where near what it once was. It's a victim of the modern fast paced OP T8-T10 game's power creep. Back then, it was the OP fast power creep!
Appreciate the reminisce. Fun tank to play back in the day. Current WOT Blitz looks like the old WOT, and is actually a fun casual game.
Well now you have to show an absolute king of the past... Hellcat . Who hasnt played back in the day will be shocked . Cheers mate!
I wish they could bring back that 8-shot autoloader! GG Quickybabs!
In typical Wargaming fashion, this version of the Bulldog was recently introduced as a tier 8 premium with the 10 shot autoloader.
Stalingrad was a fun map. Great to see these old school games again. EYESUN is stil playing.
actually I think 17:50 , the Tiger P was talking about XVM stats where red means u were below 50% Winrate
With the mag it was just glorious!
I miss the days of proper weakspots. I loved in that 1st replay where you deliberately aimed at the tiger's machine gun port so you could pen it. So much more tactical than it is now with very few obvious weak points.
Oh the good old days of the Walker bulldog was my favourite I managed to play it in its hayday with the 10 shell auto loader
Cant wait until you make a Before it was Nerfed video about BZ-176
Loved the bulldog back when it had the auto loader, suited my playstyle to a t! I was gutted when I came back to the game and found it as it is now, was one of only a couple tanks I 3 marked.
I've been waiting for this video. I used to play this tank so much with the autoloader.
Amx 13 90 before tier change as a beast.
Damn, I remember watching this replay all those years ago. Tier X LT’s weren’t even a thought in WG
Goddamn, I remember playing as my T29 on Stalingrad!
I miss all the old maps too…
The game is so so much more forgiving these days… Why play a game if it doesn’t have any challenges at all.
Oh QB Loved your mod pack!
Anyone remember when the T-34-85 and T-43 had a 100mm gun...
Cheers QB. Have a great Christmas to you and everyone.
