CATCHING BLUE CRABS!! Big Ones

Late June adventure that brought in some great crabs. It was raining one off the days but it was a fantastic time none-the-less! I hope you enjoy.

Mostly St Lucie river. I can’t disclose this spot though. Lol it’s the thrill of the hunt!
I have been almost everywhere in Florida and dropped a line. You can find the big ones anywhere. Good luck my friend and thanks for watching

hey, FL weather is ..?? Well ya know.. don't like it.. wait 30 minutes & it's all new... Moved to Naples FL in the late 80''s ( ya dating myself ..) and TRUTH! manager of a Hardees in a shopping center & I'd park my car like 100+n yards from my store so the seniors didn't crunch it...& I swear .. very often I'd go out the door of my store & it's pouring down rain & scooted to me car like 400 feet away & ..? not a drop & sunshine...! welcome to FL..!

Do you think I could put crabs in my freshwater pond with a bubbler. For a week or so to keep them alive between pulls so I could do a big crab feast?

Maybe for a day or two. They do need a little salt in the water. I also think they will start to fight and cannibalize each other. Thanks for tuning in!

Thanks. The trotline method doesn’t work as well here in Florida. I want to try it out but I don’t have the set up. I’d say give it a go, if you have the gear!

Arent you supposed to mark your bouy with an R and identity your traps somehow. Deermeat for dinner guy got fined for not doing that

Thanks for tuning in! Yes sir, that’s correct. Mine have the R on them. Maybe one buoy the marker for the R is a little lighter but they are there.
