I was a caregiver for many years, I loved my patients like family, and they loved me back, it was the most rewarding job I've ever had,
This brought tears to my eyes, as a fireman I was gravely hurt in fact I was killed and revived on a rescue call only to be abandoned and betrayed by my wife of 15+ years who never visited me in the hospital etc..When I finally got to go home I was unable to walk or do most things for nearly another year the only one there for me in that time was my eldest daughters BFF who was like a daughter to me, I only wish when I die I could reward her for all she did the way this man did Amanda!

Thanks for this i am taking care of a elderly lady right now who is not my mother i am her aid but i found it hard to go home at night and leave her i cry sometimes at night when i see her pain and what Alzheimer's is doing to her it has been 2 weeks i have not been paid by no one but i still care for her because i love her and i have the full support of my 18 yr old daughter i know God got my back 🙏

Dang it 😂 I literally cry over everything 😭 I took care of my grandfather and mom in their last yrs and though it was hard and at times very stressful...I wouldn't change it for the world 🌍...No one else cared when they needed it most.And I'm glad I was there to be of comfort and help in their last yrs ❤️ No one wants to be in a position to need help.But if you know someone who you claim to love and they need you, but you ignore them...Remember you get what you give!!! And also, No One is better than anyone else.We are all human and just trying to make it in this world 🌍 ☺️

I went thru something similar with my ex-wife, after serving in desert storm 90/91’ I got into a bad car accident (not my fault) and I had to retire from the army. Over the years she started to change, either she got tired dealing with my medical issues (PTSD, seizures, memory loss, migraine headaches) or tired of me in general. Things got so bad the marriage became verbally and mentally abusive on her part so I left and went back home and filed for divorce, she called me on the phone and of course begged me to come back to her and that she was sorry etc but I told her no. I don’t know if it was the guilt of how she treated me or the realization of how much I loved her, she died a year later after that phone call. A couple of years later god blessed me with my wife and we’ve been together for 11 years, I’ve always believed the saying that “when god closes one door he always opens up another one”.

This was great. More people should watch this set. I know how the husband felt. The maid attitude never changed. She was pleasant all the time. It upset her the way her bosses wife treated her. Amanda did not once complain about looking after him for SIX YEARS, yet John's wife Beth was too selfish during that time.
This is how I would've done this ending.

I work in healthcare and this doesn’t sunrise me twice I’ve been left money from my clients after passing one wife wanted to fight me I was 28 she was 70 and wanted to fight bc her husband left me money in his will but she was mean and didn’t take care of him but I did and very well for 4 years 7 days a week 12/24 hours a day
I've been a caregiver, and a good faithful one over forty years of my life. I have never been left anything except my mom left me and my sisters some after caring for her. Intangibles are things money can't ever buy, and the good Lord thought that was more important I guess in my life. I have my mansion on the other side... glad you were blessed. Not all of us get the same rewards.

Nakisha Guider. Being in your profession is not easy. There are things you'll are equipped to do as caregivers. Thou we may love and care for our sick family, try our best to do what's necessary. There is a time when serious decisions have to be made to allow for a caregiver. I've had a mum and a sister(ex nurse) who both had suffered a brain stroke. Many years we battled to do all that was necessary for them, physically, emotionally and mentally. Finally, we came to the conclusion, that it's best to employ a care giver. We have watched the care givers. I salute them. They go the extra mile. Loving and caring daily our flesh and blood. Doing everything in the physical for our physical challenged family. It's difinitly not an easy job. I can relate to a caregiver cause we struggled daily during bath times and changing of diapers. Please don't let anyone judge you. If in your heart there is peace, so let it be. There must be a reason for some one to to leave you monies. They must have felt appreciated, loved and cared for. It's not what you say to some one that matters. It's how you make them feel that matters. May God bless you. Continue to love and give it freely. What you put out there is what you will recieve in return. Take care.
