@@theretroguyy5399 I'm with you there because 1) that is what you call people that don't take responsibility for their own wrong actions, 2) this is an easy gesture of committing a wrong that hurts other people so badly that they'll never know how it feels unless it's done to them, and 3) that was a one-sided, selfish, inaccurate, hypocritical, accusation. I would've gotten in his face for that. What a piece of abusive, selfish, and neglectful, garbage he is as a husband.
People misuse this word a lot, but, the situation we witnessed/you recapped here is a classic example of “gaslighting”: one person trying to manipulate the other person into doubting reality.
If she had believed him, and thought “wow.. maybe I _did_ embarrass _him,_ I should be less embarrassing..” he would have successfully gaslit her. Thankfully, she put a stop to the toxic loop they were in :D

That friend was a bystander and let alone, he was like 23 years old at that time. I could tell the abuser’s friend felt uncomfortable and bad for you, yet, he didn’t do anything.

Do I ever know how she felt. Been there done that. My credit rating was far superior than my abusive brute. He even destroyed that not once, but each time I rebuilt it. Love is a gift, NOT permission to destroy another person. Disrespect demoralizes the receipient. Take away the love & there isn't even friendship. To get respect one must give respect. To put one down for their size is so totally unfair. As we grow older our bodies change. In this story he used her, a pure form of abuse. She said in the letter that he hit her. Well the words hit her as well.

As a survivor of Domestic Violence i can honestly said that it takes years of counseling to restore your faith in love and humanity, apart that your self steam is a roller coaster of emotions, since you always questions yourself about your look or if you ever good enough. A wife is a person, who you married to keep you company to love each other and work for a better future for both, don't hurt the person that love you unconditionally because the same way she change you are changing yourself as well, and if you don't want somebody to hurt your sister, daughter, mother or any person who you care about, don't hurt the person who loves you the most.
Sad thing is: abused spouses get alot more validating in the world, than in the church. Preeechers, listen the heck up - quit using Scripture to dismiss people stuck in TOXIC (yes toxic) marriages. Some marriages are NOT Biblical, and need to end...period!

It is hard to lose weight, but I still try anyway because I want to reveal my abs and it is going to take a while, so I'll just keep it up. I'm supposed to go to the gym this summer and I already lost 22 pounds, but I am a nice and loving person and that's all that matters.

Last June 2020 I left my (now ex) boyfriend for the lying, cheating narcissistic behavior. He insulted me, verbally and emotionally abused me. Cost me financially and never apologized for any of it. This video is soo relatable to me, I put up with mental and emotional abuse for over 10yrs, it was more complicated then this story but I finally escaped, I'm a survivor of abuse and I'm still after 5yrs free, have a long way to go, I took the long road, I have no support, but I am in a better place and very positive about the future, never lose hope and always look for the positives not the negatives, I've become wise on my journey lol
