Is it though? We understand HIV/AIDS much better now than we did back then. We have medicines that almost completely control it and almost completely eradicate it from the detection. A person with HIV today can even have unprotected sex and not spread it. No one is deathly afraid of HIV anymore. We consider hiv a manageable disability now. At least in the western world.
Yes, it was. Very. I think the point Mr. Miller wanted to make here was that Andy's lesions should have been recognizable as symptoms of AIDS, when that one man (Walter Kenyon) spotted one on Andy's forehead, because as that woman had testified, he had previously seen them on her too, before seeing it on Andy's forehead, thus proving that those men knew he had AIDS, and should have recognized the lesion as such.

That was the turning point for the Judge to literally rule in Andrew's favor, that he had the exact same symptoms as the lady who also had AIDS and that just because he was gay didn't mean that he was unceremoniously fired.
It's a great movie, but is there any point to your RUclips channel? What is your plan here? To somehow cover every single second of this movie? Some of the clips are poignant. Others, like this one, almost seem to be chosen at random. I don't get it.
I haven't watched all of the clips they posted. But the clips I have watched on this channel showing the courtroom scenes seems entirely appropriate for a channel called, "MP Legal Firm" to be posting. You always have the option of not watching them.

Kinda - AIDS doesn't have nearly the same stigma, nor is it a death sentence in western countries anymore

3:15 The scene which Andy (Hanks) is forced to open up his shirt revealing the lesions on his upper torso was powerfully sad and disturbing.
Yes, it was. Very. That's why the defense objected that the display was unfairly prejudicing the jury.

It represents a big win for the prosecution.
Still don't get the reasoning behind the shirt scene. Can someone explain it to me like I am a 6 year old please?
That scene was heartbreaking... And then she felt bad but she deserved it cause she was very cruel. Poor Andy. He had no more energy...
She was not cruel. She was doing her job in defending her client.

Defense lawyers in civil litigation often try disingenuous tactics such as these. Not surprising at all.
What did the female lawyer said exactly at 1:07? I Hear Something like " I Hate this case " , but I´m not sure.
Yes
Such terribly powerful acting by so many brilliant actors

"Literally" rule in his favor? Not figuratively?
I cried for real from that scene.
