Regarding her acting abilities, her parents are both actors/musicians, she was originally training to be a dancer until she had a bad injury that sidelined her. Her dance teacher asked her to make a song they could do a dance performance to, hence Ocean Eyes, the rest is history. Just imagine, she actually stumbled across this profession by accident.

As a few here have said, she is fantastic in Swarm (I believe written and directed by Childish Gambino) but only for an episode. It should probably be noted that her parents were both struggling actors who met on an episode of a Law and Order type show (dont quote me here- this is me remembering a doc I watched during the panini). But they both mostly gave up acting when they got together, to make sure their kids homeschooling flourished. IMHO they did quite a good job!!

I'm new here and love you're going down the Billie rabbit hole and you're enjoying her😊....I think if you want to see another side of her "My Future" is a great song and her song for the new James Bond movie "No Time to Die" I think some one else said but the British awards live is better live version because she was sick for the grammys and didn't sound as good. @Cliff, Yes it was exactly 💯 about climate change!! She got SOOO VERY MUCH HATE, especially with the Christian ppl about this it was insane!!! They'd literally say shiz like "she's Lucifer she has to be stopped! Omg?! I WAS so hoping you'd see the girls dancing in the flames at the end... But yes she is absolutely amazing! And yes, she had them literally drop her off of a crane for the beginning, like a fallen Angel... And she had the most awful bruising for a long time after from the wings😢... What I guess would be next is "You Should See Me in a Crown... But, you missed the first one that put her here "Ocean Eyes" and the next one is awesome I used to play it every morning when I got up and went out to have my coffee and it's called "Bellyache" and there are SOOO many that are so underrated too! love ya ❤ hope to talk to you soon 😢
