Exploring a Mega Junkyard in BANGKOK (Vintage Car Heaven!)

- I explore an incredible junkyard / salvage yard on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. Inside are hundreds of vintage cars and trucks from America, Japan and Europe. I also find Airport Vehicles, Fire engines, US Army Trucks, Bubble Cars...and even a Submarine!
This place is a hidden gem. There's so much cool stuff here, some things I recognised but some were too obscure! If you can name some of the cars here please let me know in the comments with a timestamp.
I wish I had more time here. I was eventually spotted by some workers and told to leave (they were sat by the big truck at the end).

Great video, but that isnt a submarine. It is a life boat from a ship.
Thanks Matt, yes someone pointed that out to me on Reddit too...slightly embarrassing mistake on my part 😅
I've been living here for a bit over 22 years and have never found a junkyard. This is great.
4:21 Purvis Eureka kit car built on a VW chassis. My friend had one in the 90s it was a piece of crap!
you show the exact contant I desire to watch.. great work as alaways
Thanks Amol! 😁🙏
Whats the story with the Bond Equipe (last in UK 2009), the Reliant Robin (last in UK 1991) and the 1963 Bond Minicar (exported 2004), all still on UK plates? Part of someone's collection who died? Its a pity you went around so fast and didn't really know what you were looking at.
Magirus at not from the Sovjetunionen, but from Germany and it's air-cooled V8.
Canada 🇨🇦 here...sweet...me, you, tools, battery n gas...hell of a wknd!
Fantastic cars! The white sportscar is a Nova (or Stirling Nova), a brittish kitcar mounted upon a vw chassie. Quite a few was build and is considered to be one of the better kitcars for vw. This one looks like it´s a late -70 ish, early -80, the changed many details over the years, but this one has the big, clear plastic over the headlights and then it should be a later model.
some amazing stuff here ,where about is it and is anything for sale
Where is this place in Bangkok
Already suscribed from southamerica ;) you took nice risk getting into there and watch steps in this area
Thank you brother 👍😁
Really good. 👍

Hello can you also give me a location where I can find out
i know it's private but i know i can pay a sum of money and i can go in and see thx
You find some great places. Thanks for sharing this! I think a junkyard is called a "siang gohng" in Thai (not sure how to spell that - I've only heard it 555)
Thanks, found it completely by chance! 😁
Fun fact, that’s actually a Chinese-derived word! But yeah, that’s one way to call them.
Not a Magnus but a Germano Italian MAGIRUS DEUTZ 230 truck at 5:49
A rare BMW 700 and at his right a French Peugeot 403 at 7:11
At 11:09 it's a Checker Marathon Aerobus 12 seats 8 doors, Armbruster-Stageway, it is very rare car , but given its condition unless it is rebuilt entirely it is not recoverable except perhaps to give parts.
The question is ; they are possibility to purchasse one or more of these vehicles , to restaure it ?!
Hey can you tell me where this is?im also in bangkok. Im looking for a place to do a photoshoot
Can you tell me where is this place?
Next to jesada museum
Nice share my friend! 🥰👌
Thank you 🙏
Hello Sir May I know this location?
Near jesada museum
hi, please tell me how can I find this place on the map?
Where is the location in Bangkok
A great place for cars and vehicles enthusiasts to visit 😆 by the look of those vehicles (e.g. firetrucks, etc.), this spot must be close to a place such as the airport (Donmuang?).
East German Trabant at 8:19. Seems like these are museum cars, either waiting restoration, or used as parts cars.
Send location please
I visited a place like this in CapeTown which they had turned into an actual museum, they should do the same with this!
Are these for sale?
This looks like the storage yard Rod would have for his antiques.
Yep, he'd have his hands full for a while fixing up all of these!
@@silentseekerYT Ambitious man Rod.
White plastic sports car "what's that"... Clan Crusader had running gear and engine from Hilman Imp :)
1:50 - magirus deutz fire truck
2:44 - VW bus type 1 ( with the additional smal windows at the doors, and the middle a 1,5 cab )
4:30 - home made
4:33 - willys jeep
7:12 - VW variant
8:00 - again VW variant
8:39 - this mercedes would be worth to get restored to high level
mega fantastique ! ! !
do you know if they sell something?
where is the junkyard in bangkok. I´m in jomtien just now but I think have to go there.
it is like paradies
I don't think anythings sale , it's just down the road from jesada museum
@@silentseekerYT Ah, that explains the Reliant and Bonds. Some of these cars are probably from that collection. They might be cars awaiting restoration, including all those microcars.
Very interesting stuff. Could you tell us where this is? I live in a nearby province and would love to drop by. And I supposed they’re all for sale? ‘Cause I really love that green coupe.
Hi, it's very close to jesada museum, but don't think anything is for sale
@@silentseekerYT That’s a bummer but I think I’d still swing by and get a closer look. Many thanks!
Any chance you can share this location please ?
Yeah it's next to Jesada museum
@@silentseekerYT thank you. I’ve been to the museum, didn’t know they had a private junkyard 👍🏽
Were you easting some bags of crisps as you were walking? My guess salt & vinegar?
Picked onion monster munch :)
Thailand?
Wow, vw, Saab, Albion, dodge, robin reliant, DAF, jeep, Bedford, Chevrolet, ford Cortina, zepher, mark one to fours, simca, Citroen, what a mix. Some of that stuff is world war 2 not Vietnam too
I think its not a junkyard, but part of a museum collection.
Address please
What was the business idea of this junkyard? I did not look like they were selling used parts, or cars? Were they restoring cars? Or what were they doing?
Going to fast
There's some unicorn rare stuff here
Hello Silent Seeker..just a heads up here Im fine and back on Line soon:)
Cool 😊💪👍
location/adres?
submarine? That is a boat from a oil rig.If there is an emergency.
This is more a museum
Yes! Although there's part of me that prefers seeing them in this condition than pristine museum condition :)
I sell you good submarine American!!! lol it’s a lifeboat…

4:24 vw based nova sterlıng kıt car

Junk yard is right. Nothing but junk. What a waste of time.
