To be honest, I love the design of Faker, it is simple but it fulfills if function of generating that feeling that something is not right or that it is not the original Sonic The Hedgehog

In this alternate reality: Faker makes his return in the mod after Revie is claimed to be innocent, and Hog gets scrubbed from the files. (Which is why he becomes glitched near the end of the song.) Also, I just want to put it out there, I think it's so fucking funny that people immediately started calling Faker generic and bad after Revie got cancelled. When I NEVER saw anybody saying any of that when she was still "relevent."

Y'know what makes things funnier? From what I saw, people didn't even mostly TRY to give arguments on why EXE/Faker's suddenly generic and shitty. Like, really. At least a comparison of Hog/Scorched and EXE from those people as a way to prove their opinion would be enough already, but nope.

I like the idea that one thinks the other is the real Sonic hoping that they like their imitation of him, this goes on for an entire day until half way through the song Hog realizes that Faker is, well, a faker, resulting in Hog revealing their true form. After seeing that they were practically the same, Faker reveals his true form as well wanting to converse with another imitator. While Hog is pissed that he was bamboozled and that Faker copied him, Faker still wanted to hang out with Hog because they had the exact same idea and thought it was neat that they were very similar. This goes until Hog's code begins to break apart, forcing himself to patch up with other assets in order to not die, and Faker is genuinely concerned about Hog and their health. And in the end, Hog just stops and Faker just feels bad.
Hog is a bootleg and Scorched is a deformed Sonic mixed with Hog, they're different characters

For Hog fan I agree with you guys that his lore look interesting than Exe and his original concept design looks really creepy and scary. But the new one doesn't look scary at all, instead it looks badass.
But While Exe looks normal and generic But that's why it makes us nervous because we don't know if this guy is real or not. and when he start transform I'm pretty sure many pals are definitely freaking out.

Epic cover, however I'm not sure why everyone thinks hog and faker are similar, I see it in design with scorched and EXE kinda but not much, EXE and faker are the same entity, Hog and scorched are 2 different beings, they both do undergo transformations during a song and are tall lanky spooky guys but that's where the simularities end.

This cool i've always liked faker even after the controversies and I thought hog was just his replacemtrn kinda like a faker 2.0, anyways this cover is pretty cool in my opinion and if it was possible to alter faker's sprites to be shaded so it could fit in more after the transformation that would've been badass still good cover tho it's just a little detail that would'vemade it better
Tbh, EXE seems to be challenging Hog into who's a better Faker, with Hog being extra confident about it, yet EXE only takes advantage of that by mocking Hog mid-song, since Hog transforms suddenly thinking EXE is nothing compared to him & laughs, just for EXE to transform too and laugh with him.
Both, both are good.
I think both hog and faker have unique ways in how they are likable, hog has his socks blended into his skin when he becomes scorched and faker's socks melt into his skin.
It will be that you can do a cover, manual blast but it would be hog, scorchet vs hatsune miku, and being worried about them, and being the final parts of the song: 5:49 a phrase appears that scorchet would say to miku: (we need help) ,and in the end hatsune miku save hog and scorchet,and at part 6:29 sing hog scorchet at the same time and be safe and sound,please?

Yeah I can see where you’re coming from. Faker is copying the more Modern Sonic (lankier proportions) whereas Hog is copying th classic style (shorter limbs, more round and friendly appearance)

gonna comment this cos i noticed some people has been commenting the same thing abt "faker doing a better job than hog" or generally "faker is better than hog", and i feel like explaining stuff up
yknow hog doesn't have a story even remotely similar to faker right? Like, there isn't even the "monster in disguise" concept for the character anymore lol
faker is about a version where sonic.exe uses a "disguise" to mask himself as sonic at first, before revealing himself to be who he actually is, with that being really what he is, cos i never heard any different lore from him aside from the fact he uses a disguise, having a "normal form" design meant to throw you off as slightly weird
while hog is about a bootleg version of sonic's world where hog and other copied versions of the sonic characters exist being fused with sonic's original world, and thus messing stuff up to the point of killing all the original characters, and fusing sonic and hog together, while also mangling the og sonic into a beast that lives inside hog's body, and uses him as a "vessel" to avenge the death of his friends and the lost of his old life, with having his normal form (aka, the normal hog) meant to look like a bootleg sonic, and just that
(also its from him that came the "I WON'T BE REPLACED" phrase, in case you didn't know)
only thing i can say they remain similar is how scorched looks so similar to faker's "true form", but thats it really (which i think might change as i saw a scorched redesign sometime ago made by jack gore that might or might be not become official, im not entirely sure)
(also gotta mention that hog sorta lost it's purpose of "replacing faker" a good while ago lolol)

I am personally biased towards Sonic 2 since it was the first Sonic game I ever really enjoyed. Replaying them in Origins really did put into perspective how much better 3K was.
TLDR; Sonic 2 is preference, Sonic 3 is objective
