I am a fan of Jessie J anyway, always knew she could saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang - but this was whole competition, I've never watched her performances (which I don't get why... haha) but after reacting to her first performance of 'Domino', you can bet I'll be reacting to all of Jessie J's performances!!!

She has a heart condition that forced her to leave the competition and she missed a week. Against doctors' advice, she returned to perform this song and then went on to win the entire competition.
There's more to it, but that's the short version.
How have you not done her version of My Heart Will Go On from the singer yet? Its my fave live version of that song. The arrangement is 💥💥💥💥

Great reaction! Jessie J's voice is insane in her live performances. Her cover of Killing me Softly on the singer is sensational. But if you really want delve into Jessie J's talent, check out her live performance at the Troubadour (Do it like a dude is out of this world) accompanied by just a piano and acoustic guitar. Also her performance of her track 'Queen' accompanied by just a piano.
For me, she's unrivalled as a live singer - charisma, emotion, attitude, soul, jazz, pop, likability, she's on a whole different level. Inhope you find time to react to those too. All the best 👍

I think you could argue that a Morissette Amon or Sohyang naturally have a better voice, but tbh, as a performer, I think Jessie J might be the closest thing we actually have to a Whitney Houston these days? her character, her stage presence & her insane skills as a singer, are all why she won this show against other great singers such as KZ etc.

That's an insightful opinion, my friend! I probably would need to go back and listen to both Mori and Sohyang's versions to say for sure... but I think JJ performance here like you say, is top tier! She really blew me away here! And I've just today reacted to 'Killing Me Softly' and 'Earth Song/ Flashlight'.... my absolute days 😳😳😳🔥
