The weird thing is the surprise for a lot of people.. Sascha has always been this way, humble, generous, brilliant and funny! He's always done awesome victory speeches, because he's a fantastic guy. The one who say he's arrogant and overrated is the same that probably has never seen him play a match in his life.. Sascha Zverev is a bless for tennis, not only for his talent and his achievements at such young age, but above all for his strong and charismatic personality, his capacity to speak the truth straight to the point without fear. All the other youngsters are way below him in this moment. This is the attitude of a natural born champion, period.
@A Gott Karen is a solid player and this year he stepped up with his level as well Medvedev, but he still is far from Sascha's level, the titles speak for Sascha.
@Salome33 none of the top player really is, he's just honest, if you want to win and be n1 you can't be humble, unless you learn to hide your real nature as Federer or Nadal did becoming just more diplomatic. Sascha is young and hunger for victories, he's a true hard worker and deserves all he's achieved.

Finally the Nextgen is making it through. Although Novak's come back this year is outstanding ending season as no.1, it was a bit of a relief that Khachanov and Zverev beat him at the end to finally show there is hope for a Nextgen coming through.
Well last year Dimitrov won and he didn't even qualify this year. I know he is not really Nextgen anymore but still I agree that there is some hope for some but let's wait till one of them wins or comes close to winning a slam.

An all-round great, humble, charismatic, eloquent person and evidently a very talented tennis player. And given Novak and him hang out and practice a lot together, living in the same city, it'll be nice to see Novak's fingerprints on this lad's game... As a matter of fact, it's already visible. I just hope Novak can stay on top of things for a few more years. Kudos to both!

Adithya Naren actually you can add many more injury comeback years for Rafa but yeah the big ones are 2010 2013 & 2017. And if he does a madness in 2019 like winning multiple slams & trophies then you could add 2019 too.
