My sons skin looked the exact same way and I noticed it when I switched from breast feeding to formula. He had cradle cap as well and organic castor oil cleared up my son’s skin and scalp!!

Unique the cradle cap can be a symptom from the milk change. Especially if it’s on his skin too it can be his body responding to the cow protein in the milk. (Could explain if he’s fussy a lot too) Alimentum formula worked for my son…as he got older any milk product would cause an eczema like breakout…
hey @UniqueLashea you can try warming some olive oil and putting it on his scalp 10 mins b4 you wash it. I did that for my baby boy's cradle cap, and it came off instantly, after washing it comb it through and brush out excess on the hair follicles.

My son (2months) had the exact same dry, inflamed, raised patches on his face. I used cortizone (morning, lunch, and bedtime) and aquaphor. I stopped using the cortisone after day 4 because it noticed the lighten of his skin. I continued to use aquaphor daily. And his skin is a thousand times better and color has started returning

Aquaphor helps and I used to put aloe vera in my baby bath water for her skin and it help. Not directly into the skin just in the bath water
Mustela lotion worked for my son’s skin and castor or olive oil. I literally used kitchen olive oil I just put it in something and kept it for his hair and massaged it into his scalp every day or every other it’ll start flaking right out.

My son had cradle cap in the same spots his pediatrician prescribe him hydrocortisone 2.5% and it cleared his skin in 2 days and his color evened back out within a week. I still use it when he scratches his self in the face or any kind of rash.

That's what I use on my son years ago..best shampoo use a fine comb when you put the shampoo on and olive oil helps his skin and hair. MY son had all that hair to so its going to be hard wash his hair every night just don't comb hard....
