Absolutely none of this is new except the honesty. If anyone is surprised by any of this, they clearly haven't paid much attention over the last 40+ years. And every single person who ran as or voted for a Republican over the last 4+ decades has helped allow this all to happen.

Justices should be above politics looking only at the law. If my memory serves me right, Earl Warren,, who’s issued Brown v Board of Education, was appointed by republican president and confirmed by republican senate. The court looked at the law.
The decision is rooted in two things. 1) Apparently there are some pharma executives among the wealthy holiday friends of the surpreme court. And 2) they wanted to avoid a precedent where people from the other side might form such groups and challenge anti-woman laws.

“If something happens and I am called upon to perform an abortion I don’t want to do”. How is this person even a doctor? A drug well studied to be known as extremely safe, the odds of being called upon to perform an abortion regarding it is lower than other standard over the counter medications having adverse reactions that harm a pregnancy. All that aside… odds are if you are called to help a woman having an adverse effect to this medication that pregnancy is already over. He just doesn’t want to help the health and well being of the now non-pregnant woman. He doesn’t want to give health care to women, period.

I really don’t understand all these doctors… I’m a nurse and one of the things that we are taught when we are in schooling is that we don’t get to choose our patience. We care for everybody it doesn’t matter what they look like or what their belief systems are our job is to be a neutral party and provide healthcare. These doctors are losing their mind… This is not what healthcare is about if you feel this way then perhaps you shouldn’t be a doctor. This just further perpetuates the idea that healthcare in America is not about helping people it’s about money it’s a business…

During oral arguments on immunity, Brett Kavanaugh described the pardon of Richard Nixon as “one of the better decisions in presidential history,” a huge tip of the hand. I predict they’ll toss Trump’s charges, probably saying he had no way of knowing he didn’t have lifelong criminal immunity for acts while President; then they’ll respond to criticism by saying letting Nixon off was a good thing for the nation (I STRONGLY disagree).
I knew the Trump case would be last.
What I can’t stop thinking about is the following: if the Supreme Court would decide a president has absolute immunity, wouldn’t that allow the sitting president to do whatever he wants (smash cake in someone’s faces or throw people in jail without a trial) ?
