Yes, dropping sugar and carbs can feel bad at first but once you get past the detox stage you feel amazing on Keto or carnivore. Many people don't do thier homework and give up without realizing why they feel bad and that it's going to end in a few days.
Be careful of the keto flu. I have a lot of family members that are on the carnivore diet and the first two weeks can be kind of rough as your body just being keto. Make sure you're drinking lots of electrolyte.

We carnivore diet in my home. The first week or two can be really tough. Remember you arent counting calories. You eat until you are full. Eventually you will be fuller longer, skipping meals, not having cravings, and feeling great. There is a carnivore friendly hydration powder on Amazon that helped me through those two weeks. Anytime I felt off I had a cup and it worked. Good luck!
I kinda do a half assed carnivore diet because it really helps with my inflammation… But I have to incorporate some type of carb or I get in a complete funk. So I do avocado toast on sourdough bread. With a little cottage cheese it’s delicious.😜
I lost a TON of weight doing this diet...i love it! Eat when you're hungry, until you're full. Try and intermittent fast along with it and the weight will drop off and you won't feel hungry...its magic!

Your body has to adjust to it and it is not necessary to bite stiçks of butter. I do add buttér to my coffee. I do eat low amounts of carbs from fruits like avocado, squash, cucumber, frozen cherries.....it just makes me feel better. Best to àvoid processed foods and SEED OILS. Eat whole foods, not processed which are full of seed oils and dyes and stuff you cannot pronounce....one or two Ingredient foods. Canola oil wàs originally used to lubricàte engines during the 2nd world war.😮

I need to do this. I eat too many carbs and feel sluggish. I do eat slabs of butter - didn’t know that was a good thing. I’m a swizzle stick, but have low proteins in my blood and am super anemic. Maybe I’ll switch the French-style cinnamon rolls (fancy carbs) for eggs in the morning. Carbs are just easier.

I'd go at least a month. A week and you're barely going to be out of the woods with being in ketosis etc. This diet is very good for you 💯 first 3 to 4 days are the most brutal. Biting sticks of butter is not a standard carnivore thing despite social media influencers.

Girl brown the butter and freeze it into tiny cubes and eat it if needed that way. Way better than straight up eating plain butter lol also you will feel like ka ka for a bit transitioning to carnival lol but you will get it!!
Remember that you are detoxing off seriously addictive substances. Sugar, caffeine, carbs. Artificial colors are all addictive and you will absolutely feel the detox. Small frequent meals are best.
Giiirl, if I don’t eat carbs for breakfast and stick to just protein and fats, I may feel full but at some point I will start feeling weak and lightheaded. I’m pretty sure this is just not for everyone.
Maybe some acids? People use hot sauce and I think the vinegar in hot sauce helps breakdown the fats and proteins to combat nausea, ya tummy probably needs some help.. Good luck on the diet!

Also, I believe how you're eating is considered animal-based not carnivore. Carnivore is a lot more strict and doesn't include anything processed or veggies/fruits. Whatever you decide to do, it gets easier as long as you eat enough. :) You most definitely don't need to bite into butter sticks lol.

I mix the ground beef and egg mixture each night with a little franks red hot. In the morning I eat cottage cheese with a few pork rinds to dip it out. I am using LMNT to help replace the sodium potassium and magnesium you’re going to pee out. I got the raw unflavored. I just ate dinner. I mixed a little cottage cheese in with my ground beef egg mixture. That was a nice change. I have been getting nauseated after my ground beef and egg mixture. I think too much fat. Watch out for diarrhea and constipation. I have had both so far.
Well I don’t know I feel like we can get addicted to sugars and chemicals and stuff like that. Maybe you could just be adjusting or even having withdrawal of some sort from the change? I noticed when I stopped drinking diet coke I had terrible headaches and just felt off. Just drink a lot of fluids and take care of yourself. I’m sure you will adjust after a few weeks ❤️

I dont know what kind of people that can bite into a stick of butter and nothing goes zigzaw in their brain. Dont do it. If you were living in the coldest part of the world and needed that kind of lard. That's the only instance i feel is acceptable in biting a butter stick.
I don’t understand these no carb diets. Your body can’t effectively utilize all of the protein without carbs. It actually just leads to weight gain and stress on the heart, kidneys, and liver. If you want to burn fat effectively by turning protein into muscle, you need good carbs, like whole grain rice, black rice, multigrain rice.
I seen people on the internet loose weight from this diet but I would think it would be one diet that would raise cholesterol and give people cellulite no?
Avocado isn’t part of the carni diet. But you’ll go through a week of the keto/carnivore flu. It’s your body getting rid of the crap you feed it for your whole life. I’ve done keto multiple times. Happens every time to me. BUT! After 3-7 days of crappy feeling, I feel the best I ever have in my life.
When you have a fairly balanced diet and switch to an extremely restrictive and unbalanced diet you’re going to feel like crap.
