Car extension, building a camera dome. (+ Test) (CC)

Our chase vehicle needs this expansion, so that we can make more and better recordings. In addition, we also have more view into what is happening around us.
for this video we rolled up our sleeves and brainstormed how to do it while we where already started building it. By means of timelapse images, you can get an idea of ​​how we have tackeld this. Of course, the dome also had to be extensively tested. On the day of the test, there were some heavy winter showers with hail, snow and some thunder and lightning. At sea, there was a strong and cold wind from the northwest, that blew the car backwards. We've seen cops twise, but they didn't stop us. I must say, it does attract a lot of attention from people, haha. (Our test results: it's water proof and it's not affected by strong winds.)

The dome itself is made out of Poly(methyl methacrylate) and the base out of wood, other materials were used as well to build the dome
