If you could do all that even for 100k total, that’s still cheaper than paying rent to landlords or taking loans from the bank for normal houses

@@AKFF320 however you now require environmental permits to cut down the amount of trees in a period of time per area there are many construction methods for cabins that are not allowed cabins. They also are very very expensive to build often more than a brick house
its a shed no dual layer inside for insulation. we have these exact lego style builds available as "summer" houses in ireland. they come in 3 x 6m, 4m x 9m and 3m x 9m sizes usually. they are divided up internally into an open plan kitchen, bathroom, mudroom and bedroom. you can buy modular add on to make them 2 bed or to make the kitchen separate etc. they have the same wooden exterior to this but with heavy weather proofing, and internally they have hollow insulation and a second internal wall like plasterboard for painting. They usually have tile or asphalt tile roofs. you're not allowed to build a 2 storey home in this way as the materials aren't considered safe. must be brick or concrete for that.

Don't know how I feel about a lego/modular setup for assembly, but this still looks better than most "new construction" houses that get built so maybe this ain't so bad.
Honestly an old style log cabin isn't much different even if you "make" the pieces on site. This is tongue and groove which fits much tighter - though it has a much lower R value than a 10" or more "log" (squared or not).
I would have put some kind of caulk or sealer between each board.. think it would have been a little better with pressure treated wood too.. I could be wrong though

Don't know how I feel about a lego/modular setup for assembly, but this still looks better than most "new construction" houses that get built so maybe this ain't so bad.
Honestly an old style log cabin isn't much different even if you "make" the pieces on site. This is tongue and groove which fits much tighter - though it has a much lower R value than a 10" or more "log" (squared or not).
