Very helpful. I would add, find a way to break the ice. A joke, a quick story, talk about the news or the weather. Nothing too long but something to help you get in a speaking mode.
I recently had to talk in public in an university seminar. I wouldn't say it went bad but I would like this video came out a couple weeks ago 😂 Great content Masha! And yes I can verify your body prepares to run away 😂 My advice to everyone who asked me how not to get nervous has always been: just practice. Get used to talk in public and you'll be fine after a couple times you do it. My confidence routine before everytime I have to talk in public is to meet the people before (if possible) and just tell jokes and be funny. This relax me and I feel more confident when I look at the people again while I'm speaking
Thanks!
Power poses definitely help!
