alcoholism is an addiction and it's going to be hard for mum to do this on her own. I am glad you're on her side Sergei and knowing that you give them some support the kids will feel safer knowing that they can get hold of you as they just want their mum to be safe and strong to manage her family.

Zoe’s sister may be the one to ask, she called the police. Alcoholics relapse repeatedly, it’s doesn’t mean they can’t conquer the addiction. It sometimes takes many tries. You can do spot checks unannounced to keep tabs on Zoe. Loosing her kids would be the worst. She has to know that why she stays sober.

I think kids thrive with their parents over orphanages but, given to Zoe's drinking, it's scary to think that her need to drink may be more important than her children eating. She would do well to be in an inpatient rehab center to get herself together if there is some option for the kids to go somewhere they are familiar with. Uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents any would do for temporary living. Zoe has to make it happen though. Rehab only works if she takes part and really wants to change.

This is difficult Serzhik because if the girl is taken away from her mother, where will she go? She didn't like where she went, did she? This is always the problem. The mother is drinking, so the girl is removed - but goes somewhere worse. In my view she is better with her mother. Even in the UK, children who are taken into care, have poor prospects. They are removed from their parents, but still end up in prostitution, drinking, drugs, poor education, gangs, prison. Maybe it would have been better if they were left at home. When the state is the new parent, it never works out.

Thank you for helping. Seeing someone cares about her and family, that may be the ticket to her to stop drinking. You are doing the right thing. That child will always be grateful to you. I never heard mom say thank you. Maybe I just missed it. Anyway, thank you, Earthly Angel. Well done, Sergei, well done!!💜💜💜🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for helping this woman during her addiction struggle. We know the odds are that she will fall down again, but to have someone as nonjudgmental as you to help her up when she does, will increase her odds of success tremendously. She may take two steps forward and one step back repeatedly, but as long as she’s still going forward, she’ll get there eventually. Bless you for your deeds, Sergi . Update us, please. ❤

Children do suffer, but if her mother can slowly get help, then the children should always stay with parents. If the mother doesn't succeed then I'm sorry they should go to family members .

Thank you for helping them and making sure the little girl was happy and felt safe and wanted to stay home. It's always best to check up on kids who are in hard & bad situations, instead of just turning the other cheek and hoping everything will be fine. I have seen situations like this turn deadly and wish I could have done more, but, I did everything I could to help the baby :(

What does it mean to be coded from alcohol? What drugs/meds can u get in Russia to help stop drinking. Weed works good but is illegal in Russia. ppl need benzos or something to stop drinking long enough to be able to address underlying problems and stay sober. Always remember that it's a disease as u know and I believe her when she says she would stop drinking for her kids. If only it was that easy....

I feel you are right to give this mother your attention and buying the food and refrigerator had to boost her spirits. It could possibly take several chances for it to settle into mother's head that, unless she stops drinking she may loose her children. Best wishes to mother and children. Thank you for your loving and generous h3art. God bless you.❤️

Thankyou for giving the mother the opportunity to try to overcome addiction. I agree it is very important for her children too. It gives the daughter time to grow up.
The mother will also need all the support she can get. She has an illness and it is no different to helping the mother for any other disease. She needs to be supported to try to overcome her addiction - not punished for being unwell. Thankyou for supporting her.

This is why my sister lost her children, we are in the US. She's an active addict and homeless. You cannot force people to get help, they have to want it. 2 kids live with family and the other was taken and we didn't know so he was adopted by his foster family. Unfortunately our child services doesn't have to contact family when they take children. We don't know where he is since he was 3.

Zoe needs help and not condemnation. But she does need to want to do it. Hopefully after this scare she will commit to becoming sober. And the truth about what happened at the farm probably lies somewhere in between the two accounts of what happened. It always does!

I was really impressed by this girl and her brother when I saw their first video. I don't know why, I've seen many troubled kids, but I feel that this girl is blessed and will do fine. The mother seems genuine in her trying to provide for them and to deal with her addiction. Wish that they sort this out soon at least to some manageable level, until the girl starts to shine and take care of her mom and brother.
