  • 10 mins colour silent film showing the flying qualities of the Sikorsky VS-300A with a Sikorsky XR-4 in the background. A man is then seen climbing up a rope ladder into XR-4 the whilst in flight and then descending down again. The same stunt is then performed using a single rope. The film then continues showing the flying qualities of the XR-4 helicopter close to the ground, including a scene where a man on the ground places a large package on a nose extension of the helicopter, and another scene where a man on the ground takes of and replaces the helicopter's front left wheel whilst in flight.
After 5 minutes the film breaks off into another film showing a young woman collecting a metal hoop from a long rod at the front the helicopter and then another film showing the flying qualities of an amphibious variant of the VS-300 flying at speed and then alighting on water, spinning around on the water and then taking off, further flying footage concluding with a demonstration of the helicopter collecting a hoop from a pole on the ground.
