Yoooo, as a Carib woman this topic alone got me sooooo hype because our nations aren’t usually highlighted for things like this. So excited to watch and get creepy🖤
Honestly those Jamaican guys probably ended up doing that kid a favor. They didn't end up actually harming him, just scaring a good sense of self preservation into him.
Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to go to a foreign country, and then walk around poorer areas, making it clear you're a tourist, just because you're desperate for drugs? There's a point where you're just asking natural selection to slap you upside the head.
Disagree. The one guy pointed a shotgun at something he wasn't willing to destroy. Kid is lucky he didn't blow his head off or that the gun wasn't loaded.
@@Mavvyd96 I agree he shouldn't have done it, but I think it probably ended up making the kid much smarter and aware of his surroundings in the end. It ended the best way it could have.
Regardless of how nice people are if you’re in a unfamiliar place you gotta be careful, thats I always tell my American friends to only go places with a guide when in Jamaica . Long time listener,Nuff love from Jamaica 🇯🇲
People go to Jamaica and try to mingle with locals, bc they see Hollywood's depiction of them, not realizing just like bk in their own home country, theres people who prey on people, they'll befriend you and then you're dumbass disappears all bc you thought your "new friend" had good intentions until you're turned into a shrunken head doll
story 3, yep, tourists are relatively safe here aslong as they dont go out on their own just walking around, those dudes were just playing with you lol
And also, weed is legal in Jamaica, they try to sell it in resorts and on all the excursion trips you go on, so there's no need to go wandering through the back alleys for it there lol.
Could be playing with em but nobody is gonna trust some random weirdos especially from another country. Also putting a gun into someone's mouth isn't playing even ghetto trash doesn't play like that, the monkeys weren't playing

I agree. I find the ghost stories as captivating as the ones shared here. But people have to write and post them in order for our beloved narrator to read them.
@@rogthepirate4593 I understand your point of view. But some of those stories are more like "I have no idea what exactly happened, but this is what I experienced" tales. Not always meant to indicate the paranormal so much as an unnerving situation. The best of both worlds, perhaps.
@@briandouglasahern7067 Fair point. I did have one or two of those in my time. But I guess I simply think that there's always a rational explanation for it, even if I may not be privy to it. Many of those "ghost" stories on the other hand are so on-the-nose "it was a ghostie guys, I swear!!!!11" that I simply can't take them the least bit seriously.... I guess they just ruin any suspension of disbelief I might have had.
I just read Wade Davis’s book on the case of Clairvius Narcisse and his anthropological exploration in Haiti and you summarized his accounts very well!!! Have you read The Serpent and the Rainbow??
If you want a more expanded cinematographic interpretation of the 5th story, watch the 1988 horror movie "The serpent and The rainbow", based on a book written by prof. Wade Davis himself. of his experience with the zombification research. So, here are my two cents about Voodoo: In Haiti and some areas od USA with Caribbean immigrants such as Louissiana Voodoo is both tradition and heritage, they're not like the Hollywood satanists that are portrayed in horror movies, Voodo has its protective side too. In the Caribbean and specially Haiti, there's religious syncretism between Catholicism and Voodoo so even though for some christians the Loas and spirits prevalent in Voodoo can be hastily classified as demons, from their side of the story it's very, very different.
*Let’s read* :There’s another area of the Caribbean synonymous with paranormal activity and mysterious disappearances. *Me* : ...I hope he doesn’t mean- *Let’s read* : the Bermuda Triangle *Me* : ...of course.
Second story: "If he happens to be reading this" I hope Ricky gave you permission to retell his story, otherwise it's really shitty to talk about someone's trauma behind their back
It's crazy to me that no matter how many times it's proven that ships disappear as much or less than other areas of water, people still hold on to the Bermuda triangle myth. The ocean makes up most of our planet and if something gets lost it's extremely hard to find due to all the currents. Planes and boats literally travel through there all the time without issues. The area also is primed for storms forming very quickly.
I just baked me some salmon with some old bay seasoning and boil me some plain white rice and i got my black n gold chopsticks put this video on my big screen (where im from its raining over here) its party time ,👍🏾👍🏾
Story 3: the only thing that lulled this dingdong into a false sense of security is his own entitlement and privilege. He’s the only one who decided to go and literally search for trouble. Stupid games, stupid prizes.
💯 not sure what he expected going into a strange unfamiliar neighborhood in a country he doesn’t have any grasp on. i guess they technically did him a favor?
Story #2 is Tragic! I have family that went through difficult times in Cuba. They were thrown in jail, slave labor, starve you and when you were a about to die, they would take you home. Your family would bring all their minuscule resources together (basically, they would starve so you could recover), feed you, clothe you, etc. As soon as the "Chivatos" (Snitch) would see that you were well enough to walk around. They would come back and throw you back in jail and the cycle would start all over again until they felt you had served your time. And then, what would go on in jail was a whole other tragedy.
It's so sad. The Castro regime took away our plantations and our servants, they seized our business and all of our homes. They made my parents work for a living. Truly horrendous.
Per ship traveling its waters, the Bermuda triangle has around the same percentage of lost craft of sea and air as any other region of the oceans. There are more disappearances there simply because it is a more frequently trafficked area.
