Cool for you Hailey! Definitely an adjustment period will happen, that’s kind of normal. But you are a fun and outgoing person, let it naturally shine through and you will be able to interact with everyone! I do hear you about missing family and significant others, I had the same experience when I had to go to school to a different state. And you are in another country, can’t imagine how that feels. Hang in there and you will be fine, I have faith you will adjust and enjoy the time there.
I studied in the UK for five years and I lived like 5000 miles from my family and every time I go there I feel the same feelings they will go after 2 weeks usually they won't last forever its gonna be hard at the beginning but after meeting new people you and walking around the area you live in you will feel connected to the city try to explore it and maybe try to get into their culture. Don't forget you will need vitamin D supplements becuz it's cloudy most of the time there and having vitamin D deficiency cause depression.

I literally cried every single day for a month when I moved for the first time and now Im going on a year abroad in a half a year so I’m sending for the both of us a lot of love and light haha ❤️

i can relate to you a lot! i’m a high school exchange student at the moment in the us (from finland) and moving here without anyone was scary!! i’ve been here for 2,5 months now and it has gone by so fast. good luck with everything ❤️❤️

@@zeynepervasengun8707 hahah no it’s okay, I would recommend looking up different exchange organizations, they usually have info on their websites! my organization is yfu, but the organizations might be different in where you’re from

Go to regent street - at Christmas - the lights are so beautiful
- go to Chinatown - full of Chinese food / boba places
- go to Camden (a super hippie / trendy place)
- go to tate modern / national gallery etc
- Oxford street / circus - shopping
- Kew Gardens

also london is a super nice place so don’t worry too much, if I see you around I’ll say hi
- also the natural history museum ice rink (it’s been open for 16 years and this is the last year)
