I Sweat A Lot

Hi, Ask A RDC here, and in this animation, I tell the story about how I sweat a lot and how it actually made me fail an inspection. Hope you enjoy! Going to work on a new animation program here soon so they should look better. Hooyah Navy!

My RDCs used to give me extra beatings in boot camp because they knew I sweat a lot and left puddles on the deck in the compartment lol

Not a military guy, but i drove a bus for a living. No AC in some buses, so come summer I looked as if someone had thrown a bucket of water on me. Long story short, the condition is called hyperhydrosis, and there is treatment available. The best is Botox injection in the sweat glands that are working overtime. Shuts them down for 8 months to a year. Not gonna lie, it hurts like hell getting it done (might want to pop a couple of extra strength Tylenol before hand) but life becomes a whole lot less embarrassing. Health care plans should cover the cost, if not it runs $1200 (Cdn) per treatment (US $900?) Like your videos.

I remember a guy in our division unrolled his sleeves during the type III’s inspection and our RDC’s all palmed their faces.
I got got a bearing hit cuz I chicken winged my right arm.

lmao, I hated those inspections in boot camp. BTW the cure to both anemia and polycythemia is motrin.

I’m with you man! As a Navy recruiter walking all day and drenched in sweat I had to explain that people like me exist.
