how did your gcse situation work because for us we had to do a second set of mocks on top of in class assessments

At our school we can’t wear denim jeans but people do it anyway 😂😂
At my sixth form we can’t have any big jewellery, no facial piercings, no coloured hair, no crop top, no bra straps showing and no strapped tops so I have no idea what to wear and I have to take my piercings out

i'm at sixth form and about to go into year 13 and its so weird that you can wear your own clothes and also can go in late if you have a free first. we also don't have lanyards because our sixth form is so small 😂

I'm going into year 12 in September and we are not allowed to wear own clothes, we have to wear sixth form uniform, we dont have photos taken, and even if we have no lessons one day we still have to go to school and stay until lunch time. How shitty is that?!

Lolo 0331 sixth form is just 2 years after you have done your gcses to get a levels which allow you to go to university, my tips are try and make friends with as many people as you can and just study hard and get all you work done when it’s set, 2nd year of sixth form is when you have exams so it’s a lot more intense so you need to put the work in x

Okay I’m so scared about sixth form , I’m going all alone to a new school, none of my friends are going there and it’s all boys apart from sixth form so there won’t be many girls... I’m so scared ( and I’m not being funny but I’m really ugly and quite fat so I feel like I’m gonna get judged soooo bad, like in today’s society all everyone cares about is looks and it’s not fair ) 😭😭😭

Not to great 😬 I have zero friends till this day, I literally spent all my times either in the toilet or out in town during my free lessons, I’ve been so depressed because I’m so lonely also due to my weight and extreme bad body image I developed anorexia at the very beginning so now I’m extremely underweight 😬 so yeah sixth form has ruined my mental health and my life and you’re actually the first person I’ve opened up to about it which is so weird because idk you but yeah sorry for the rant 😂🥰 (the one positive is that academically I’m doing well I’ve just got an A in my end of year a level biology and have been getting As and A*s the whole year in maths and chemistry too) Thank you for caring 🥺🥺🥺
Leah J Don’t feel alone about the no friends thing because I’ve literally had no friends for the entirety of my secondary school life, and I understand feeling depressed about it because i went through a really hard time with that exact problem a few months ago. The reason I don’t really have friends is because i have something called selective mutism so it makes it hard for me to communicate.For your anorexia i would really like you to get professional help if possible!!. Good luck to you (and to me too because I’m starting 6th form this year.

Are you allowed to start sixith form at 17 for exampl you go college just for one year. so are you allowed to go sixith form after the following year?
Sixth form and college is free until after the school year you turn 19. But if you leave college to go to a sixth form it may mean you will have to restart you're course.
