    It's just tragic for Garbi.. she had the game in hand even if Daria is a very good fighter and a great defensive play. Muguruza didn't deserve to lose this match and I'm not just saying that because i'm a Garbiñe fan,
    If she hadn't done so many mistakes, Daria wouldn't have won, never.. I will always continue to support Mugu, win or lose she's the best for me.

Antes podía y no quería...

    As you've said recently,
    you are in the search of finding
    your own way towards consistency.
    Nobody said it would be easy.
    Difficult roads often lead
    to beautiful destinations.
    Do it your own way. Trust in yourself.
    Because if you've already
    done it before in the past,
    you can do it again in the future.
    Vamos 😘

    Over 10 minutes of highlights and you don't include muguruza's second match point with *incredible* defense by gavrilova?

  • @nathanlifska2509
    @nathanlifska2509 6 лет назад +6

    Gavrilova I have to say it but you have the best fight. Never ever even thinks about letting a ball passed her. Look at the 6-5 tiebreak match point, no other player beside Halep could’ve even done that, and to comeback from 4-0 down. I hope she wins the whole thing even though it might not be likely.

  • @kladpapier
    @kladpapier 6 лет назад +25

    Would it be possible to show the more critical points ? Like we see Muguruza up 6-5 third set making it 40-30, then next point we're in the tie break ...
    I'd have liked to see what happened on that match point.

    • @thongtruong6640

      I guess they didn’t upload that match point as she ended up double faulting.

      Highlights are meant to show the best points of the match. If a point is crucial but not actually good, it shouldn't be included.

    • @kladpapier
      @kladpapier 6 лет назад

      A crucial point is a highlight of the match, because instead of winning, it went to a tiebreak and Muguruza eventually lost.
      Highlights are not only the best points imo. An injury is also a highlight for example.

    This was heartbreaking for Garbi, 4-0 lead in the third to loosing in tiebreak. To say the positive things I believe Garbi played better than in Madrid and she is fighting much more, the problem here was her mind(again). I don’t think Garbi can end the year as top 10 but I hope 2018 could be seen in her career as a bad year and not as the beginnings of her decadence. Also a coach change might help and of course more tennis and less fashion shoots etc..

    All Muguruza knows how to do is try to hit the ball hard as she could back and forth. No variety, no slice backhand (to aid in her defense), no drop shot, wonky overhead smash most of the time.
    For a player that's suppose to be a Top player not wanting to grow and not seeing that her current coach has her digressing in her game is pretty sad.

  • @holl01
    @holl01 6 лет назад +3

    Gavrilova has a realistic grunt because she is so tiny she literally has to jump up to every shot, and she stays quiet during her slices.

  • @rupinderpalsingh179
    @rupinderpalsingh179 6 лет назад +11

    It looks like Muguruza is writing her name in some other books, at first it looks like she is inconsistent like Petra but no not at all , as she pushes the match to three sets no matter how worse the opponent is, she is an average player who is much more overrated because of 2 Grand slams under her belt which makes her look better statically than slamless winners like Halep and pliskova..but her game is easily recognizable....yeah she had some powerful ground strokes from both forehand and backhand sides but that's just not enough...no variety in her game at all, only powerful hitting that too at the center of court instead of generating sharp angles on cross court wings...her footwork seems really ugly ... coaching is not going to help she need to find the way herself else she will fade with time .....a powerful player with possibility to defeat anyone but not the smartest at all....

    • @Aurorjosem
      @Aurorjosem 6 лет назад +5

      First you start saying that she is overrated cause she has 2 grand slams (which she had to won and against the 2 williams on the final) and then you end saying that she is a powerfull player with possibility to defeat anyone. That's a little bit contradictory, isn't it? She just need to change her coach. With Conchita Martinez she has had really good results (some finals and wimbledon champ) That would be great

    • @ig6894

    • @rachray83
      @rachray83 6 лет назад

      Rupinderpal Singh she is just a power hitter with no consistent variety, like Sharapova...But Muguruza isn't even playing her game well now. She totally deserved and legitimately won her slams, the rest of your criticism of her entire career based on her current form is garbage. And I'm not generally even a Muguruza fan

    • @rupinderpalsingh179
      @rupinderpalsingh179 6 лет назад

      +rachray83 ..that tournament against Serena was totally deserving she defeated some solid players but u can't say the same for Wimbledon that was one of the worst Wimbledon tournament among woman sides ..she faced Kerber who was a piece of garbage in 2017 , what can u expect from her , then rybarikova my gosh and finally the old lady Venus who was just out of fuel , yeah Venus was in good form but really do you look her as an opponent in Grand slam finals noooo...so Wimbledon came itself to her hands ....she never showed the form she had in French 2016

    Garbine and her coach have one of the more interesting relationships on tour. She is apparently very disdainful virtually every time he shows up and he is relentless. Just packing on the bromides. Yet their relationship continues to soar evidently. It's remarkable.

    У Гаврилкиной совсем не летел мячик слева. Кукуруза хорошо пробивала уходящие кроссы налево. Прогноз совсем не утешительный для Дарьи был.
    Но выиграла!.. Кукуруза слишком спокойно играла в конце...

    She needs a new coach that will ignite her aggression. She is not putting away balls hit to the center or her backhand. When I first saw her play at Wimbledon, that backhand was fire...sadly not the case anymore.
