Turn off the sound while viewing. The music is horrific. I did not start enjoying myself until 5:26. Though the slim line of his jackets are like water. They need a better makeup artist.

Glad to see I'm not the only one complaining! I hope this isn't the actual soundtrack of the show. So not right. And who the heck shot the footage? Awful. Hardly any of the back details were shown. And with ALL that black, the lighting should have been better. That being said, anyone who knows me knows i love me some Yamamoto. But this collection just looked like something pulled from the 90s...during the Japanese design invasion, when it was actually fresh. I admire it all for artistic merit and the vocabulary of the house...but it just looks very redux.

As much as I love Yohji's aesthetic and style, his silhouettes are starting to feel too repetitive for me. I always see trench coats and overcoats or simply, long coats in most of his collections. It gets boring, tbh.
This has become irrelevant, sadly. Needs a visiting designer or a collab to refresh. Call Lacroix?
