Top 10 ESC Songs Ever: Italy | Best Italian Eurovision Songs

These are the Top 10 Eurovision Songs from Italy ranked by percentage of total points.
Eurovision has used some wildly different voting systems over the years. Most are easily comparable, some are not quite. So please keep this in mind: Because of the voting system from 1971 to 1973, the entries from these years are better off in percentage terms compared to other years. Also, songs from 1957 to 1970 and 1974 have generally worse percentage values when compared to other years.
How did I calculate?
I looked for every song how many points it could have made at max in the semi and in the grand final. Then, I put this maximal score in relation to the actual received points in semi and grand final.
When a song didn't participate in the semi (e.g. Big 5) I obviously considered the points from the grand final only.

It might not have been eligble on a stats list, but my favourite Italian ESC song is 1987 Gente di mare - Umberto Tozzi and Raf (3rd place).

According to the rules in 1964 (-1966), the juries could give all 9 points to one song under certain circumstances. That is why the maximal points are pretty high. Non ho l'età got 49 out of 135 points (36,3% and place 15th in my ranking).
