I WANT A BOOK LIKE YOURS.... so off to play and see what I can come up with. I too love quotes, so it's fun to see the ones you have ... like those too.
Yes that is who I buy mostly too. Crow About Studio B! My Favourite!!! I have a video showing how I made my book. Not sure if you saw that and I do have more of these videos. I am continuing with them. Just been busy with some other stuff at the moment. But I will never give this style up. I love it. It's so much fun. Thank you so much for your kind words. I love Teesha Moore as well and I do hope she returns to RUclips!!!
Denise, I absolutely love the Teesha Moore style journal. So vivid and fun. I have a playlist on my channel of favorite teachers, and Teesha’s Amazing 16 Page Journal from a single sheet of 20x30 watercolor paper is part of it. Plus, she has process videos of each stage of her process- paint, collage, lettering. Such a gift to the art journal community. I’ve made several of the Amazing 16 page journals. Use one of them for mandalas and another for my wedding album.
YES!!! All those videos you mentioned, I have in a playlist as well! Along with Sandra van der Geest I think her name is. I also have her collage pages in there. Sometimes I just want something creative playing in the background.
OH YES, please please do process videos. I love the first journal and the 2nd one has a much promise. I love this style and Miss Teesha is not able to give us our Teesha fix at the moment. I would love to see more of your journal(s) as you go forward an enjoyed this immensely. TFS
Thank you. Yes I do wish Teesha was still able to do her videos. LOVE her work. I have watched her videos over and over again, as well as Sandra Van der Geest That first journal was so much fun to do.
Oh Denise....you have made Teesha Moore SO proud! This journal is amazing and you've done such an awesome job. I made this booklet too a while ago and it was so much fun. Your quotes are exceptional and there are a few I need to go back and capture because they really spoke to me. You've got a great eye for collage.....I've watched the video twice and will probably watch it a couple more times! Thanks so much for sharing - your journal made me SO happy. xoxxo Joanne
awwww thanks so much Joanne! See! It's a happy Journal! It just happens! You can't pick it up and not feel joy. Maybe you should try making one with your favourite quotes! If this made you happy watching it, then I am thrilled! xoxoxox
Teesha Moore does her journal pages very much like you do your gel prints. She batches her work. It's an efficient way to do lots of lovely art work. I think your journal pages are just darling -- fun colors and I absolutely love the quotes. (I just messaged one of my dear friends of nearly 40 years and shared the quote about not having messes, just ideas lying around everywhere. I know she'll laugh!) I don't do this kind of fun & whimsical art myself -- my creative skills don't run in that direction-- but I certainly appreciate your very obvious skills! I loved every page! WELL DONE!
Yes, Teesha is awesome in how she just creates and throws everything together and it just turns out amazing. I take a lot longer than she does. lol A LOT! lol Maybe I think too much. oh well. I'm still having fun. lol lol I have ideas lying around EVERYWHERE! Definitely. Thank you so much!
I have seen similar journals, but your's sort of spoke to me (and winked at me...tee hee). It might also be that you mentioned not taking credit for it in the video, too. We all pick up ideas from here, there and everywhere, but it's really admirable when someone points out that they were inspired by whoever.
@@leandavm8626 Thank you for saying that. I really do try. But sometimes I mess up and forget to say who the inspiration was behind it. Well that happened once at least and I really hope it doesn't happen again. Wasn't good.

Fantastic looking Album. I love collage work. It was the last thing I get involved with before I got into computer graphics. I commercially made collage papers to sell online about seven years ago. I made background papers. What you are making is way beyond what I was making. I love that album. Thank you for the video
Thank you so much for this vid. Many years ago I made Teesha's album with a group of friends to introduce them to mixed media. I have been thinking of doing it again. Have many of Teesha's stamps. Zettiology was the first stamps I bought, wish they were still available. I love your work it makes me happy when I need it most

Amazing work! I’m a new subbie now and Im hoping you do film a collaging process video. I have many of the mischief circus collage sheets. I need to use them! So much to do, so little time! Tfs and inspiring.
I agree with the so much to do, so little time. Life story. I always say I need to live a few lifetimes to do all the things I would like to try. I have done a process video and am continuing to record when i play in that handmade journal! Thanks
It’s gorgeous- both of them. Definitely put on Instagram - but when you make it , make it for yourself, without expectation; once it’s done then you can posted. Btw, Mod Podge comes also in glossy finish; and in sparkle. To avoid bubbles put little bit under and then over and use spatula or squeegee to straighten it out. I buy it by gallon, it’s perfect to glue pages when repurposing the books, ( altered books); I think it comes cheaper then matte medium - at least from Golden, or Liquitex . I love those albums, they’re so amazing!🎨💕🙌
I love your RUclips channel. I just discovered it a few weeks ago and have been watching all your videos. Years ago I made a Teesha Moore album using the huge watercolor paper, and have never used it. I also bought a lot of her collage sheets, and have been buying Crowabout Studio B images off and on for years. I have never done anything with them because I didn't know where to start. Your videos have been a great inspiration and I printed out a bunch of my collage sheets and cut out some images. However, I am not crazy about my current album. I don't like the size. I actually have two, so not sure if I made them separately or thought they might to be too big and cut them down; they're about 8 1/4 x 10 3/4. I would prefer larger, maybe 9x12..I've been trying to figure out how to make an collage album like yours and practicing with scratch paper, but just don't get how they're put together. Your smaller albums have pages that are attached back to back, but not sure how to put together an album like your collage albums using tape. Any chance you'll have time to show how it was constructed? Thanks for sharing all your talents and inspiring your viewers.
Oh my gosh. First off let me say thank you for your comment. Makes me so happy to hear that you love my channel and have been catching up on my videos. Thank you so much. Second, YAY! You're wanting to get into using all those collage items you've been collecting. It really is so fun to do! So you would like an album 9" tall and 12" wide? That's a big one!!! Have an idea of how many pages you would like it? I like keeping mine not too many pages otherwise it feels like you'll never complete an album. Give me some more info on exactly what you'd like and I will try and make it happen. I should be able to unless you're gonna get all crazy on me with your demands. lol Just teasing. It should be doable! Get back to me soon and I may be able to work on it on the weekend and get it up for you early next week!
Denise Lush Thanks for the fast reply. What size are your collage albums? Those look big enough to work with and not too big. I don’t need a lot of pages, I like the size of yours. I have 9x12 and 12x18 Canson XL watercolor tablets but can always cut them down to make a better size like 8 1/2x11. I’m assuming you used some pages folded in half and attached strips for the fold overs. Actually, your first collage album size would be perfect for me. I have brown paper tape (packing tape from U-Haul) and also have sports tape, so could use either. Leaning toward the brown. Also have 1/2” and 1/8” double sided tape. I don’t know what happened to my 1/4” tape but I can get some if needed. Ha, I seem to be a collector of mixed media supplies - acrylic paints and inks of many kinds, paper, art journals, stamps, paintbrushes, alcohol inks, distress and distress oxides, the list goes on and on. Your videos have encouraged me to stop watching others and collecting and actually use my stuff and have some fun. At age 72, I think it’s time to quit procrastinating. Thank you so much for your willingness to do a video on the process, you’re a great inspiration.
Hi Becky, So both albums are 8 1/2" x 11". I want to make them all the same size so when they're grouped together (cause there will be more) they all look like a set and maybe then I'll make something for them to go in!!! ooooh there's an idea!!! So you would like the album done in the style of the first one? Any tape you decide to use is fine. Chances are it's going to get covered up with paper and or paint. Did you want the flap going over the cover like the first album? or without? I will make one tonight and record it. I had plans but they fell through so I have time now!!! Yes, no more procrastinating. Enjoy and have lots of fun!!!! No mistakes in this kind of collage fun! And thank you so much for your sweet comment.
Denise Lush Hi Denise, Ohhh bless you! I loved the video and spent Sunday afternoon making my album. I love it. I decided to make it like your newer one. I think I made mistakes putting in some of the pages, because I have tape over tape in a couple of places, imperfect, but I don’t mind. I painted in my first page yesterday and just need to start gluing. I have so many images I don’t know where to start. I think I have almost all the Crowabout StudioB sets, 90 or so, that we’re all over my hard drive. I got them all organized in a folder on my desktop and printed up the newer ones. I had stacks that I had previously. So many that I had to put them in binders for reference. I have two big binders full, easy to see what I have, but a little overwhelming. Thank you so much for making the video, I’m sure I’m not the only one who will benefit. I appreciate you sharing your time and many talents. I also have gel plates that have not been used yet. Soon, and I will be referring to your videos for using those as well. Thanks again. Becky
@@blongie63 That's because you followed my instructions. I have tape over tape as well cause the first page I added wrong. Well I guess it's not wrong if it works, is it? lol So it's all good. Well you definitely have some collage items to choose from! I am so excited that you are actually working on the book now!!! YAY!!! Oh no! UNUSED GEL PLATES! That's a sin you know! ha ha You have made me a very happy girl!!!! Thank you!
I used watercolor paper for the second album I made. I have no idea what I used for the first one. I started it so long ago and put it aside, that I just can't remember. If I were to guess, I would think its Bristol. But really you could just use whatever paper you like working on. I put links below the video for Teesha Moore's tutorials. She's the one who I got it from. She shows how the album is put together.
Have you ever looked up the definition for the word "weird?" I was surprised when I did. I'm trying my hand at making art paper dolls too using my face in a photo booth app and a food label dress.
Just lovely, Denise! I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you once again for the inspiration 💗 Quick Q, pls? What sort of paper do you make your albums with? Thank you! Blessings xo
Thank you so very much. I believe it's mixed media paper. I have a video on how I make them. The information will be there: ruclips.net/video/nXJQ6UQckwo/видео.html
Yes please I would like to see the process of journaling very much, I keep trying unsuccessfully!😩. Where do you get your quotes from? And what paper do you print the crowabout studiob on?
I have been recording the process. The quotes, I will just save ones I like on Instagram, or I will google quotes for a particular topic I am looking for. As for paper, I just use printer paper.
I loved your video. Very very creative. Do have a question....what size paper did you sue for the flip pages? Keep making the journals and sharing ....PLEASE
I have a link below the video for what paper I used. You can check out Teesha's videos on the construction to see what paper she used (Also linked below the video). She used different (bigger) paper than I did. Have fun! These albums and collage are so enjoyable!
I LOVE your layered prints but so confused how you can lift the prints when you’ve let the paint dry. I haven’t tried it and new with this technique but don’t want to damage the plate
you won't damage the print doing this technique. That last layer of paint lifts all the previous layers. It's all on that gel plate base, which is not going to stick permanently. It will come off. It's paint. Give it a try. Just be patient and let each layer dry before doing your final one.
@@renaedavid9727 You are so sweet. I have been filming the process of the second book. I only have a couple pages done. I've just been too busy to get the videos edited and posted. Been moving my art room and working on a collab. But almost done! So hopefully soon I will have some videos for ya!

Thank you. They're fun to do! NO SPARKLE. lol I am not a glitter girl. lol
Denise Lush I use sparkle sometimes...in the most grungy environment 😂. Contrast-dichotomy. 🎨💕
@@gabrielleorlita9492 lol just to be rebellious!
Great video! I always love watching your process videos...more would be great.

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it🥰
I love your RUclips channel.
Denise Lush
Thanks for the fast reply.
Hi Becky,
So both albums are 8 1/2" x 11".
Denise Lush
Hi Denise,
Ohhh bless you!
That's a sin you know! ha ha
You have made me a very happy girl!!!! Thank you!
What do you use for your spreads? Any special paper? I would love to see how you put the album together before the art goes on!
Want to see collage work!❤️❤️❤️
okay! Done!
Is sports tape acid free? If not, the taped areas may yellow and age in the future. Wonderful journals. Thank you.
possibly not. I have no idea. I didn't worry about it too much.
Thank you
Have you ever looked up the definition for the word "weird?" I was surprised when I did. I'm trying my hand at making art paper dolls too using my face in a photo booth app and a food label dress.
I really don't think I have.
The information will be there:

Still love your videos! What type of paper do you print your images on from studio B ?
Also would love to see your process. You are very inspiring , I just can’t say enough about the things you create.
thank you!
Just printer paper! Nothing special. I like it thin so it doesn't get too bulky.
@@renaedavid9727 You are so sweet. I have been filming the process of the second book. I only have a couple pages done. I've just been too busy to get the videos edited and posted. Been moving my art room and working on a collab. But almost done! So hopefully soon I will have some videos for ya!
What dollar store did you buy the brown tape from?
I believe it was Dollarama
Denise Lush thank you
Process videos please
Will do Jody!
It’s packing tape
that's what I thought!
