I instantly loved this one as well. was one of the singles released before the album came out and I still vividly remember listening to it for the first time and just smiling because "they'd done it again." Think this is probably my favorite Cedric performance.
Nah this was a standout on first listen and still probably my overall favorite from Octa. You’re not alone. It’s a pretty popular favorite among Volta fans too, btw.
This was definitely a standout song on the album for me. Not only was it the slowest TMV song I'd ever heard (not a bad thing), but Cedric's vocals were super clear & sharp. Great reaction Dean, can't wait to see you react to all the rest of their music. Don't forget about their EP and there's even a bonus disc from Bedlam in Goliath with a bunch of covers that they recorded including songs from Pink Floyd and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Even if you don't do videos for all those they are well worth checking out.
i think the 2nd chord is B Eb D Eb(8ve up) D Eb, which is pretty weird, specially when there's the Eb on the guitar against a natural E of the vocals. It's pretty tricky.

Thanks for the explanation and the story
It's a beautiful song, the album itself is very different from the previous catalog, saludos desde chile.
You're right, the ending in particular was very Pink Floyd.
Sigues vivo!

The live version is amazing.
I knew TMV between this album and Goliath. This song takes me to the film Nightmare before Christmas,. A lovely song a lovely atmosphere . Abbraco
if you like this try Omar's album "ciencia de los inutiles" very beautiful acoustic work by Omar.
