For anyone else's information this strat took me about 11 logsuits, 3 bee hats and I used a thulicite crown for the first phase. Also about 2000 health of healing... Worked though!!
As Wormwood his full bloom can easily replace a missing speed boost like magi speed boost or most of the walking cane speed boost so he can have extra armor, even more speed, or earlier solo then other characters that aren’t Wendy. Healing can halt the fight a bit so you might have a problem there so some less DPS at moments which could be balanced out by being able to use extra armor instead of magi so you don’t have to heal that much. Using the star caller staff can be replaced by starting the fight before night and placing lanterns across the path if you have the twigs and grass. Same can be said for wolfgang just with less healing needed and maybe some meatballs to keep up the speed boost
Damn, I had no idea how to fight BQ, I watched this and prepared, and surprisingly, I did it on my first try. This guide really helped, although I didn't bring those star doodads, I used a yellow amulet and waited night out. I had to hurry due to summer being too soon (in fact, when I won, it was the first day of summer lol)

Tysm for this! I main wickerbottom and webber so im just used to cheese bee queen with spiders or tentacles, but I was planning to defeat all bosses without cheesing them and this is super helpful and make it look easy, plus looks super fun and rewarding
I pratice beequeen a couple times and from that and realizing methods to easily make more porgies than necessary(in a real world) this video was a great help... and I normally do a ruinrush at the start of the world sooo, I end up with full speed boost all the time. out of curiosity how does anyone else feel about beequeen first 2 phases, the later two are actually much faster than annoying.. still suck cause you basically have to tank damage
Beat this boss once for the first time a few years back and absolutely hated every second of it. Trying to beat it a 2nd time in my new world and I still absolutely hate this thing. It's like every single aspect of the fight is a slap in the face, and I legitimately don't know how you're meant to solo this thing without some form of cheese. I haven't fought/beaten all the bosses in this game, but compared to Dragonfly and Klaus, this is easily the least rewarding fight in the game for me. All the mechanics just feel like they were made to be as annoying as possible, without consideration for how you're meant to fight the damn thing. Like what's with the honey trail? You're obviously not meant to tank this thing, because you'll get stun locked by the gazillion grumble bees. Your only options in this fight are to cheese it in some way, which is not a well designed fight, in my opinion.
what is the best armor when we speak about damage reduction on the bee and bee quenne? Bee keeper hat or helmet/Wigfried helmet ?? can 't find the information
I just fought her first time and I died because I forgot to eat my pierogies. She was like 5 or 6 swings away from death then I died and she despawned. Now I’ve gotta go to ruins and make a deconstruction staff and remake the pan flutes then change back to warly and make the buff food and it’s kinda just a big hassle.
I know this was a long time ago but the easier method, while maybe a little cheesy, is to just rollback a day and try again. This game is very punishing when things don’t go as planned and recovery can be rough especially if you’re near a season you need to gear up for and maybe don’t have star caller or it’s cold version

I don't think its worth the time and preparation to fight bee queen as her loot isnt that good to begin with. If I could do the fight with 25% speed bonus then it would be ok at best but needing to wait until winter and going to the ruins first, at that point I dont need the health regen from jelly beans and I dont need the crown as I got cactus or the tam O shanter. Just doesnt seem worth it. It would be cool if Bee Queen crown spawned my own grumble bees and could be repaired with honey. The fight is harder the Dragon Fly and the Loot is worse. Good guide anyways

They provide the same amount of defence, but beekeeper hat has more HP/durability

The location of my bee queen is in a very tight spot. Land does not extend both ways like that since the hive is in a semi islandish spot.

the main thing bee queen gives is bundling wrap which is really really useful actually (ex: making rot basically not a thing you need to worry about)
i use tmip too since people seems to enjoy making my goats go not feeling so good
