Same, had my first 1500+ days world with WX in RotG and I've played dst on and off since 2015, and recently got back into it and all the new WX stuff is just still very confusing to me 😂 Not sure which upgrades to use

WX is such an easily lovable character, and I was so happy to see the new rework. It makes it feel like you have to put in more work, and some of the new features are just downright funny.
WX 78 should be able to scan other player forms/objects for unique circuits. Like scanning a were beaver for a wood cutting circuit, scanning a blooming Wormwood to be able to talk to plants via walking over them (much smaller radius), scanning Bernie to be able to increase your aggro range, scanning the merm king to get a merm goggles circuit, scanning a portable Crock-Pot for a faster cooking circuit, scanning woby for extra inventory circuits, etc. Doing this would encourage WX-78 to combo with certain characters, rather than be a one man Army.
Jakey, I think your videos are phenomenal and you should keep uploading because I can tell you pour your heart and soul into making these videos and that's why I'm subscribed.
I've always loved WX because "haha funny robot" and they happened to be overpowered. I always kinda feared the character refresh because I knew I was gonna play WX even if they sucked, but the fact that WX somehow became even MORE ridiculously overpowered brings me such joy. Nothing makes me happier than running around with 3 speed circuits, a walking cane/lazy deserter, and a magiluminescence so I can feel like I'm straight up cheating.
I know a million other people in the comments have said this already, but the editing on this video is amazing. I especially love the little skit at the beginning. Even though you were sponsoring another game you made the experience a lot more tolerable than other channels do.
I've always been a teamplayer, but this rework really got me playing WX-78 on my solo worlds. Can't wait to see what Klei's gonna bring us on the next update. :)
I'm nowehre near as good as you (only have about 200 hours, lmao), but your videos have inspired me to play faster rather than safer... and IT'S REALLY FUN. I've been playing as Wanda, chugging down raw meat while running insane from boss to boss as an hallucinating old lady (the mental image seems very rock and roll to me for some reason). I don't even have a base, but more like a place where I drop my items. Haven't had an issue with sustainance and I'm loving it. I think it's really funny that I also died on my Fuelweaver kill due to rain on day 87. I wasn't expecting that in autumm (not sure why, since I know it happens) and the cold killed me really fast. After a few moments of sadness and frustration I had to do a "you guys saw nothing" too because I didn't want to ruin my fun. And now, thanks to you too... I'm not feeling guilty anymore. :D
Your long time editing this video was worth it, was really enrertaining and I enjoyed the amount of Oh, you're approaching me's. Reminded me of slasher, also destroyed your whole base but left the moleworm alive >:( Btw, should have got Wix to sponsor this video, looking forward to the next one!
Btw you don’t need to attack Mandrakes during daytime, as they die instantly from the sunlight. You only need to hit them if you pick them up up during evening or night time. This may not be helpful but I think it’s an interesting fact.
Those speedrun videos of your are some of the most entertaining content to watch for DST, and are a somewhat nice 'walkthrough' for all bosses condensed in one video, your strategies and tips really helped me improve, so thank you Jakey! Or make a new speedrun where you ignire the mini bosses and giants like berger and moose goose and only go for raid bosses
Maybe the more food that spoils makes it spawn quicker or something
u can spawn him in first autumn by making autumn long in the server settings, dunno if that saves time tho
