So disappointing that no one teaches how to create a gradient that follows a path in Photoshop. If you have a path like a winding road, a snake or any other path, there should be a way to stroke that patch with a gradient such that the color changes 8 times between the tail of the snake and the head of the snake.
any idea why the alt/option key in the gradient tool won't actually sample a color? thanks for the help.
