That's on the Big5 thingy. If they finally would delete it, those songs would be filtered out in semi finals, where you don't have scores said publicly - only who qualified.

don't get excited tho, the rock fan base automatically vote for the few rock group so that's why they usually got 200+ votes as their votes are not spread. Anyway the top 3 is and you can't say otherwise really relevant France was Top 2 overall with Top 3 televoting for example... but yeah Malta was a bit overrated by the jury for example still this year was very strong maybe the strongest with the contestants.
I think France was great and really, it isn't my kind of music. Gjon on the contrary a lot overrated, boring as f**k although he has an awesome voice nonetheless

Besides.., they might pay the most contribution but other countries with smaller a GDP might pay even more parentage-wise if you compare their contributions with the GDP's of the countries.

Maybe people judged her an imitation of previous winner Netta (Israel) and maybe the song wasn't so overwhelmingly original. Just guessing...
