I tried the "normal" A position when first learning guitar, but for some reason went to the second fingering shown. Seemed to be easier quickly switch to E, Am, etc. Will experiment with the other positions. Thank you Janet. Enjoy every video you make.
Thanks Janet I started playing last year and subscribed to your channel. I had to put my guitar down because of medical problems but I'm able to play again. This was the first video I've seen of yours in awhile. So I'm back at it and having a blast. Anyways I love the way that you teach and thanks for all that you do Andy.
A Z Thanks, Andy! I’m glad you’re able to play again! I hope it was not a hand problem, but we will be talking a lot soon about avoiding and recovering from pain and injury.
@@janetbrockman3729 Thanks for your reply. I've battled a complex neurological disease for many years. Seizures prevented my playing for a long time. The guitar has been helping with the neuralgia in my left arm. All the problems I've had are on the mend with my playing. Thanks again Andy.
