Hey brother. What I do is use the hair dryer. Then I take something and push on the butterfly joint and then use a spoon to pop the arm out of the butterfly. Usually works pretty good using the spoon. I've had some guys give really helpful advice and some guys treat me like I'm an idiot so I get what you are saying.
Heh thank you. Interesting, I haven't tried a spoon, but am going to keep that in mind. When i did my Flint mod in a later video i was brave enough to remove the arms, and it does the figure easier to work on.
I wouldn't recommend a heat gun. It's a hasbro.. hot water will do lol good stuff.. I'm waiting on my firefly to come in and I have a soft goods vest for him

Thanks! I'm in the group "G.I. Joe Classified 6" Collectors" (as Brian Nichols). Is there another you recommend? I just used the knife to cut the edges as cleanly as possible. Where i didn't get a good cut the first time, i just shaved off a bit more. Not much else you can do with that rubbery plastic.
That makes him look so much better.
