Lenny J of course. She actually sounded good here. I mean, she could sing, dance, and act. Back in the days when people signed you to a record label cause they see raw talent and Aaliyah was that girl. Nowadays, talents isn’t relevant; it’s all about aunto tunes and good producers that make a hit outta you.
Sooooo many people love saying that she couldn't sing because she protected her voice. I guess they think singing has to be growling and yelling. To even get your hands on a Diane Warren-penned project, you have to actually be able to sing. She only writes for singers.
@@AdorzAaliyahSince94 that's because they don't know music and don't know about singing ppl think singing is about how many runs you can do or how many rifts to impress ppl Aaliyah can really sang her voice was so good that she didn't have to do all that her tone and range alone was so impressive I love Aaliyah voice and she was so talented we didn't get to hear Aaliyah grown grown woman voice like at the age 28 or 30 because she didn't get to live it but we are so bless to hear what God gave her while she was here on this earth oh how I miss her so much.

girl sit down. Aaliyah was in her TEENS and was BLOWING them vocals HARDER than most young female signed singers today.. just imagined if she had more time to develop them vocals ??? she would be a certified POWERHOUSE by now.
They make it their business to doubt her gift, but everyone that worked with Baby Girl knew better! It's not us fans being biased, either! So many singers today over-saturate their songs with excessive runs and engineering. It'd be nice if we could return to the most important basics of singing.
Lets face it. Aaliyah could sing. Her voice was so different than other R&B singers. When she was on the radio or on TV, you could tell who dat was. Her voice was very smooth, calm, sexy, and Unique. Any man would be happy to have a woman dat could speak to him on those nights with a voice so smooth, sexy, and Calm. LOL
You know you‘re absolutely great when your live performance sounds just as good as the music video version or even slightly better. For some ppl who try to discredit her vocal abilities. This right here is the most obvious prove that y‘all haters are wrong and that she definitely had THAT OUTSTANDING VOICE! 🔥🔥🔥👍🏼 Fly high Aaliyah 🕊
one of her best performances and she even knew it. Look at her smile @ 2:26. She never smiled that happily after a performance, well not that i have seen on youtube. I guess because she was looking really good too, she must have been having one of those days, when everything just goes well.
Just so damn beautiful vocally and emotionally and physically. I remember hearing her music all three my childhood. My mom and I was and still is obsessed with Aaliyah and her voice and beauty. This song and her voice singing it still brings me to tears. I miss her so very much. Forever my angel
It was a very beautiful performance by Aaliyah Aziz, and happy are the people who were present at this concert and were able to see Aaliyah up close. I hugged him for a few minutes, but it was a pity that I met him after his death, and even if he was still alive, I could not see him up close because he is a great American and I am Iranian and from this distance I can only listen to songs that I listen to him sing in his beautiful voice, and every time I listen to his songs, I whisper along with Aaliyah, sometimes I sing aloud, I wish she was still alive and he sings to us ... She and I are sure that Aaliyah was a good person who passed away from us so soon. At the age of 22, he was still living. Aaliyah is no longer with us, but Josh is always in our hearts and his memory is always alive. His soul is always alive. Happy and dear memory at best, the love of the universe is great I love you
i love how she ended it and her voice changed, so angelic...beyonces voice is angelic too but i feel like she be trying to damn hard sometimes (she succeed but still!lol), it seem more natural and easy flowing to hear aaliyah sing. Thats what missing in music today, people try to hard to push out what they think people want to hear making music sound the same. Its always about sex, drugs, money, or power....which are almost all freakin sins!lol
Sorry but Beyoncé’s voice doesn’t even compare to beautiful Aaliyah’s voice. Honestly, Beyoncé’s voice screeches and gives me a headache. Aaliyah’s voice is so soothing, has great tonality, it’s rich and emoting. Wish she was still here!🙏
Beyonce has NEVER had to try too hard. Wtf r u even talking about? Is this a video abt aaliyah or beyonce? Yall are so obsessed with comparing aaliyah to her and it shows. Beyonce can DEFINITELY blow. Stop acting like she cant.

@QueenBumbleBee88 Yeah. Most of the lack of power in her vocals during live performances came from her shyness. You can tell that she had to be comfortable for her to really get into it.
