ABOUT ME:
I'm Monica, an Internal Medicine attending at University of California, Los Angeles. I'm here to provide high-yield videos for medical students and residents. My favorite topics include how to succeed on clinical rotations, clinical skills, and some good old pathophysiology! I'm also obsessed with my cats and fitness, but I think there are enough cat and fitness videos out there...
Incredibly helpful for an IMG intern starting on Epic for the first time.
started my first week of pediatrics on newborn last week, and gosh I wish I had this information. my preceptor told me I needed to improve my A&Ps, and I'm so glad I found this so I can blow her away this week. Thank you so much Dr. Jeong!!!
I am so glad I found you. This entire channel is priceless.
Omg thank you so much! 🥺
Starting my IM clerkship tomorrow and I’m confident your videos will help me impress my team!! These are excellent tips. Especially because my hospital utilizes EPIC. Keep up the amazing work!
Amazing!! I really hope they’re helpful! Thanks for the comment. Good luck!!!🍀
Hi Dr. Jeong, thank you so much for making these videos. I have been asking so many people for years how to go about workflow, but I've always been told "you'll figure out what works for you" instead of shown a way of how to do it. I wanted to request whether you could do a video on pre-charting a patient who has had a long hospital stay. I've been getting lost in the sea of information and have been worried about appearing unprepared when probed on specifics from several weeks ago. Thank you again!
Starting my sub-I soon! Haven’t been in the hospital for a while; this is super helpful. Thank you!
Yay! Thank you so much!! :) good luck!
Your videos are really good. Please keep on sharing the tips!
Thank you!! I will do my best! ☺️
Always great!
Thank you!!!
Your videos are AMAZING! So helpful for seeing the forest through the trees and thinking about how to categorize the endless reams of data to understand what's significant.
Curious - a lot of this seems to depend on having the technology of the EMR mastered! When do med students get training in how to learn EPIC (or whichever EMR they use)? I could easily see your entire pre-round destroyed because of unfamiliarity with the tech.
Thank you!!! 😊 Mastering the EMR takes a lot of practice. Only way to learn is to just keep using it and asking others for their own “hacks” and tips. Our med students get a training session before starting wards, I believe. It’s probably not nearly enough. You learn most of it on the job!
Thank you. Starting my residency very soon, it helps a lot. Great:)
This video helped me so much!!! Thanksss!♥️
Yay! I’m so glad! Thanks for watching 🤗
ma'am you're my lifesaver
Thank you!!!
Thank you!!
Keep up the great work!!!
Thank you!! :)
I’m really glad I’ve found you. I subscribe first.

What are last three values on your fishbone diagram? What do they represent. I never seen that before. By the way, thanks for making this awesome video Dr. Jeong~
Ca, Mg, and Phos! In that order going top to bottom. :) and no problem! Thanks for watching!!
Stop the background music it is too loud and distracting
Sheesh, hope you're more polite to your patients! The volume could probably be softer, I agree. Thanks for the tip!
