I would say that Vivaldi does most if not all of what Arc does but, the thing that Arc gets right is the UI. Vivaldi’s UI is something reminiscent of the late 2000’s with how clunky it gets.
Arc is out now, not sure if you're aware. but I actually think edge has a better vertical tab than arc. arcs side tabs arent sensitive enough for me, wish i could change the distance at which the side bar opens. and I wish it shows the icons of tabs, and I could click the icon to switch.
I already use Microsoft Edge with vertical tabs. It's a Chromium browser so I'm not going to give it a try since all the Chromium browsers provide pretty much the same experience. Edge is well optimised for Windows so I can get extra battery life using Edge on Windows. (I haven't slept whole night. I'm not sure I have written proper sentences and I'm too lazy to check but surprisingly not lazy enough to not type this. 😂)
@TheInventar Let's all start with the basics. We all know Edge collects tons of telemetry. So what they do is they shove tons of ads and news articles on your start page and make edge load tons of different things I dont want it to load. It also literally take up way too much of my dear screen real-estate (Yes, I use 'Arc' btw 😏) And so when it loads all of your stuff in, you're stuck with a really terrible user interface and user experience. As of right now, I prefer Vivaldi (does what edge does without the shove everything in your face) and I dont want it running in my background all the time. Literally. Going to task manager to see the tasks and then realising that for some god-forsaken reason Edge is still running in the background for 'fast bootup times' is so annoying because I'm a power user and I like having my threads free as much as possible. And did I mention the catastrophy called 'Bing'? I didn't? Okay cool. To put it simply, I hate Bing and I also hate copilot. I like to keep things minimalistic and Edge is WAY TOO 'shove shit up your face' for me. They load up useless information cards (which I probably have to go through settings to find an option to disable), the space is so cluttered and... Well, it keeps going. For Windows I'd rather use Vivaldi or Firefox+Arcfox (Or sideberry if you dislike Sideberry. Both are cool)
@@TheInventarSo, the tl;dr is: too many ads, too many processes, does things I dont want, Vivaldi or Firefox with Sideberry/Arcfox is much better. Heck even Chrome is much better. The interface of Edge is really that terrible and claustrophobic. Just look at all the sidebars and topbar and just think about how many times you actually used these 'features' Microsoft added for you. + Copilot sucks, lets admit it. Bing too
Firefox browser is amazing too. I've been using it from a long time btw. The only thing I don't like is that there is no easy option to change profiles🤣

Is the screenshot option available in windows arc browser?
For your reference, Native Vertical Tabs were initially popular by Firefox, followed by Vivaldi.

i actually watch this video with arc for windows and its so buggy i think i reswitch to chrome
Use brave. When you use chrome you are giving everything to google and not just your search queries.
Settings: The icon on the right side of the URL, then the three dots.
Great!! but do you have any idea how to sync the sidebar both on windows and mac ??
